Steven Spielberg: 'War Horse' Trailer!

Check out the trailer for Steven Spielberg‘s newest movie, War Horse!

The drama, which stars Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Jeremy Irvine, and Tom Hiddleston, will be released on December 28 and is based on the book and recent stage play of the same name.

Here’s the synopsis: “War Horse begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert (Irvine), who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets – British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter – before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land.”

Daniel Day-Lewis: 'Lincoln' with Steven Spielberg!

Daniel Day-Lewis will star as the 16th President of the United States in the Steven Spielberg-directed flick Lincoln, according to Variety.

The pic is about the “political collision of Abraham Lincoln and the powerful men of his cabinet on the road to abolition and the end of the Civil War.”

Daniel Day-Lewis would have always been counted as one of the greatest of actors, were he from the silent era, the golden age of film or even some time in cinema’s distant future,” Spielberg said. “I am grateful and inspired that our paths will finally cross with Lincoln.”

Filming begins on the flick in 2012.
