Forest Whitaker flashes a smile alongside Joshua Jackson while attending Harvey Weinstein’s A Celebration For Forest Whitaker In Eugene O’Neill’s Hughie held at Elyx House on Thursday (February 18) in New York City.
Hughie, which is Forest‘s Broadway debut, is set in the lobby of a small midtown hotel on the West Side of Manhattan. Forest plays Erie Smith, a drunken, small time hustler who is mourning the recent death of the hotel’s night clerk, Hughie. Erie regales the new night clerk (Frank Wood) with tall-tales of his glory days and times spent with Hughie.
Be sure to check Hughie out when it opens on February 25 at the Booth Theatre!

Hugh was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week and opened up about meeting his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
“I met her on my first job. She was the star. I was so embarrassed about it that I didn’t talk to her for a week. So, I had a dinner party, and invited her and about 20 other people over. I’d had a couple [drinks], and I said, ‘I’ve got a crush on you,’” Hugh said.
“She’s the greatest thing that has ever happened to me,” he added. “I can honestly say that.”

Katy Perry shows off her stunning black ensemble on the red carpet at the 2015 Change Begins Within Benefit Gala held at Carnegie Hall on Wednesday (November 4) in New York City.
The 31-year-old entertainer was joined at the event by Patrick Stewart, Sting, Jerry Seinfeld, and more. Katy took the stage and performed at the event alongside some ballerinas.
That same day, Forbes released 2015’s highest-earning women in music list, and Katy came in at number one with $135 million made this year. Taylor Swift came in at number two with $80 million. Rounding out the top five were Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie, with Lady Gaga and Beyoncé.
