Cara Delevingne‘s latest film Suicide Squad has been a huge success at the box office but critics have been giving the flick some terrible reviews.

The 23-year-old actress and model recently opened up about how she felt about the negative feedback.

“The critics have been absolutely horrific. They’re really, really horrible. You know, I just don’t think they like superhero movies. This movie isn’t perfect but it’s a wonderful film and the characters are incredible. We all worked really hard,” she explained to Reuters.

Cara added, “It doesn’t really matter what the critics say at the end of the day, it’s the fans that we made this movie for.”

Her co-star Margot Robbie expressed that she felt the same saying, “Critical acclaim is really nice, but we made it for the fans. If the fans like it, then we did our job.”

Suicide Squad has taken the top spot at the weekend box office, despite a huge decline in viewership in its second week in theaters.

The film brought in $43.8 million after dropping 67% this week. The movie has earned a domestic total of $222.9 million in two weeks at the box office.

Seth Rogen‘s Sausage Party, in its debut at the box office, over-performed and brought in $33.6 million.

Meanwhile, Bryce Dallas Howard‘s Pete’s Dragon took in $21.5 million in its debut weekend.

Rounding out the top five are Jason Bourne and Bad Moms, with $13.6 and $11.4 million, respectively.

Kehlani pays homage to Harley Quinn in the just released music video for her latest single “Gangsta“!

The haunting track is featured on the Suicide Squad soundtrack, and it’s meant to describe Harley Quinn and the Joker’s relationship in the actual movie.

“Steven Price did the score on this and he’s incredibly gifted,” director David Ayer said on Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 radio show. “He heard ['Gangsta'] and felt he could do more with it and really orchestrate it and it just blends into the fabric of the film. It speaks a lot to relationships, making a choice, and at the same time how there’s also power in surrendering to somebody.”

Suicide Squad was released earlier this month, and many fans are upset at how little The Joker (Jared Leto) was featured in the film.

Turns out, a lot of Joker scenes were filmed, but ended up being cut. Margot Robbie, who played Harley Quinn, explained why in a new interview with Tipsy Talk.

“They probably realized that the emotional through-line of the story had to be the mission that we were on, and explaining the Enchantress’ position and all that kind of stuff. And the [Harley and Joker] backstory stuff, though it’s magic and some of the stuff we shot was insane, they are flashbacks … so there’s a lot, but it just didn’t make sense to confuse the present storyline to incorporate all that,” Margot said during the interview.

Margot wouldn’t rule out a whole separate movie addressing Harley Quinn and The Joker.

“I’m trying to make that happen,” Margot said. “There’s just so much more to do.”

DC’s star-studded new flick Suicide Squad debuted at No. 1 at the box office with a whopping $135.1 million gross!

According to THR, the movie, starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, and more – is officially the biggest opening ever for August. Overseas, it raked in $132 million.

Coming in second was Matt Damon‘s Jason Bourne, which earned an additional $22.7 million for a domestic total of $103.4 million.

Taking in third place was Bad Moms, starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Christina Applegate, which made an additional $14.2 million for a domestic total of $51.1 million.

Rounding out the top five were The Secret Life of Pets and Star Trek Beyond, which brought in $11.6 million and $10.3 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner and Kevin Spacey‘s new movie Nine Lives opened at No. 6 with $6.5 million from 3,264 theaters.

One of the most highly anticipated movies of the summer, Suicide Squad, has finally arrived in theaters and it is expected to dominate the box office this weekend.

The movie stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, and many more. It follows a secret government agency that recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.

Make sure to stay for the end credits after the movie ends as there is something to see, unlike the recent DC Comics movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Jared Leto channeled his character The Joker while stepping out at the Suicide Squad premiere held at the Odeon Leicester Square on Wednesday (August 3) in London, England.

The 44-year-old Oscar winner wore a green Gucci coat, which he saw on the runway during 2016 Milan Fashion Week back in May.

Someone else in attendance captured Jared‘s face on Instagram when he first saw the jacket on the catwalk, and he was clearly enamored with it.
