Suzanne Somers‘ son, Bruce Somers Jr., is speaking out.

The 57-year-old son of the late Three’s Company actress and Bruce Somers spoke out on social media following the sad news of his mom’s passing over the weekend.

“She soared higher than most can dream,” he began. “She protected those who didn’t have a voice. She asked the questions most didn’t know to ask. She shared her challenges and brought light to solutions.”

Suzanne Somers received a touching gift from her husband shortly before she passed away, and her team is sharing it with the world.

The beloved Three’s Company actress sadly passed away at the age of 76 following a decades long battle with cancer.

After the news broke, a report suggested that her longtime husband Alan Hamel gave her a poem he had written for her October 16th birthday that was “wrapped in her favorite pink peonies.”

Suzanne‘s publicist R. Couri Hay confirmed the story, saying that he “gave it to her a day early and she read the poem and went to bed and later died peacefully in her sleep.”

They also revealed the poem in full.
