Julianne Hough & Vanessa Williams Celebrate With Their Cast at 'POTUS' Opening Night Party

Julianne Hough steps out in a bright yellow dress for the opening night party for POTUS held at The Shubert Theater on Sunday (May 1) in New York City.

The 33-year-old actress joined all her costars – Vanessa Williams, Gisela Chipe, Lisa Helmi Johanson, Julie White, Rachel Dratch, Lea DeLaria, Lilli Cooper, Suzy Nakamura, Anita Abdinezhad, and Jennifer Fouche, as well as director Susan Stroman at the party following the premiere of the new Broadway play.

Celeb guests at the event included Lea Michele, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Rachel Brosnahan and her husband, Jason Ralph, Amy Poehler and Ana Gasteyer.

Teri Hatcher was also in attendance, supporting her former Desperate Housewives co-star Vanessa.

Julianne Hough, Vanessa Williams, & More Celebrate First Performance of New Play 'POTUS' on Broadway!

Julianne Hough raises her champagne glass in a toast to her new Broadway play POTUS while attending a celebration following the first preview performance.

The 33-year-old actress was joined by Vanessa Williams and the rest of the cast while celebrating the show at the Shubert Theatre on Thursday night (April 14) in New York City.

Also starring in the play are Rachel Dratch, Lea DeLaria, Julie White, Suzy Nakamura, and Lilli Cooper. They were joined by playwright Selina Fillinger at the celebration.

POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive is playing a limited run through August 14. Here is the play’s synopsis: “One four-letter word is about to rock 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. When the President unwittingly spins a PR nightmare into a global crisis, the seven brilliant and beleaguered women he relies upon most risk life, liberty, and the pursuit of sanity to keep the commander-in-chief out of trouble.”

The show is already getting raves from fans after just one performance.

Julianne Hough to Make Broadway Debut Alongside Star-Studded Cast

Julianne Hough is heading to Broadway!

On Tuesday (March 1), it was announced that the 33-year-old Dancing with the Stars alum will be making her Broadway debut in the new play POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive – and she’ll be appearing on stage alongside some very big stars.

'Dead to Me' Cast Reunites for a Virtual Reading of Series Premiere Episode!

The second season of the hit Netflix comedy series Dead to Me is out now and to celebrate, the cast reunited on Zoom for a live reading of the pilot episode!

Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini, James Marsden, and the rest of the cast, along with series creator Liz Feldman, read the episode on Facebook Live.

The stars were in full character for the live reading and both Christina and Linda were brought to tears at one point.

At the end of the reading, Christina broke out into song and performed the Judy Garland tune “Get Happy,” which was the credits song for the pilot.

The second season kicks off with a BIG twist that involves the return of a cast member we didn’t think we’d see again.
