Helen Mirren and her husband, director Taylor Hackford, attend the 24th Annual USC Libraries Scripter Award ceremony on Saturday (February 18) at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

The 66-year-old actress and Taylor, who were the dinner co-chairs, helped honor screenwriters Alexander Payne, Nat Faxon, and Jim Rash for their work on The Descendants.

The Scripters recognize this year’s best cinematic adaptation of the written word. It’s the only award of its kind that honors screenwriters in addition to the author of the work upon which the adaptation is based.

The Descendants is up for Best Picture at next Sunday’s Oscars!

“The directors nominated this year for the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film Award have each demonstrated an inspired command of the medium. The fact that their prodigious talents have been recognized by their peers is the highest honor a director can achieve,” Taylor said of this year’s nominees.

Helen Mirren arrives at the Directors Guild of America Honors, held at the Directors Guild of America Theater on Thursday (October 13) in New York City.

The 66-year-old actress was joined by her husband, director Taylor Hackford, who serves as the president of the DGA!

Both Helen and Taylor presented at the show, which honors individuals and institutions “that have made distinguished contributions to American culture through the world of film and television.”

Richard Belzer, whom you may recognize from his role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, hosted the show for the fourth time.

Jennifer Lopez walks around the set of her new movie, Parker, on Thursday (September 22) in Miami, Fla.

The 42-year-old entertainer shared a laugh with director Taylor Hackford.

Earlier in the week, Jennifer and co-star Jason Statham cruised around in a Bentley for a scene. Jason and Jennifer also recently shot scenes at night for the film.

Helen Mirren jokingly chides her husband, Taylor Hackford, for flirting with a wax figure on Tuesday (May 11) at Madame Tussauds in London, England.

The 64-year-old Oscar winner is the latest celeb to be honored with a wax figure!

According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Helen helped with the creation of the figure and donated the Asprey dress the figure wears! More than 300 measurements were reportedly taken to make sure the figure was just right.
