The 32-year-old actor, who played the role of Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, recently responded to reports of Channing Tatum eying the role for future films in the franchise.

“If he does it, good on him,” he told the Chicago Tribune. “He’ll kill it. It’s such cool character. Whoever plays him will be a lucky guy.”

Taylor Kitsch Broke Down Three Times Reading 'Lone Survivor'

Taylor Kitsch carries several large bags of luggage through LAX Airport on Thursday (December 12) in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old actor recently opened up about reading the script for his upcoming film Lone Survivor for the first time.

“I broke down three times. You just hold all this energy in as an actor, and I didn’t truly let it go until then,” Taylor explained to Vulture. “Knowing all the families and getting to be a part of it and tell the story … yeah, it f*ckin’ crushed me. That’s what takes you out of your head when you’re watching yourself. I wasn’t there when Ben shot his big scene or when Emile shot his last moments, and it got me. I wasn’t ready for it.”
