In the video, Kanye can not be heard telling Taylor about the lyric, “I made that b*tch famous,” and Taylor points that out in her statement.
“That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet,” Taylor posted on her Instagram.
“Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world. Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009,” Taylor wrote.
Kim Kardashian just shocked the world by uploading a series of videos to Snapchat, seemingly proving that Kanye West did ask Taylor Swift about certain lyrics in his song “Famous.”
The video starts with Kanye asking Taylor if she still has the same Nashville phone number. Kanye then reads the line that mentions her name in his song “Famous.”
“I think this is a really cool thing to have,” Kanye says about the lyrics. “I know, I mean it’s like a compliment,” she replies.
“What I give a f–k about is you as a person and as a friend. I want things that make you feel good. I don’t want to do rap that makes people feel bad,” Kanye says. Taylor then replies, “Go with whatever line you think is better. It’s obviously very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it. That’s really nice.”
“I just have a responsibility to you as a friend. Thanks for being so cool about it,” he says. She replies, “I really appreciate it. The heads up is so nice…I never would have expected you to tell me about a line in a lyric. And the flowers that you sent me, I Instagrammed a picture of them and it’s the most Instagram likes I’ve ever gotten.”
“Relationships are more important than punchlines, you know,” Kanye says. Taylor then answers, “Yeah, I mean, I don’t think anybody would listen to that and be like, ‘Oh that’s a real bit. She must be crying.’”
If you don’t know about any of the drama, Taylor has made claims that she did not approve of the song before it was released. Kim and Kanye have been adamant that she did know. The drama was discussed on tonight’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It’s important to note that in the video Kim posted, we never hear Kanye say the line, “I made that b*tch famous,” which is the line she reportedly did not approve.
The 32-year-old actor, who is currently filming Thor: Ragnarok with Tom in Australia, opened up about Hiddleswift in a new interview.
Chris was asked if Taylor has visited the set yet, as she flew down under with her man.
“I haven’t met her personally, but she’s obviously hugely talented. As I said, I haven’t met her. I think they only got here three or four days ago and I’ve seen Tom around. He looks happy, mate. Yeah!” Chris said.
He was also asked if he plans on asking Taylor to sign an autograph for his daughter India. “No, I’ll just ask her to sing a song,” he replied. “Hand her the guitar in between sit-ups for the cameras and I’ll be like, ‘Off you go.’ A couple tunes would be nice.”
The 26-year-old singer is name-checked in Kanye‘s song “Famous” and while Taylor says she did not approve of the lyric, Kim and Kanye both claim that she knew about the song and even helped rewrite some of the track. The drama over the song was rehashed last month because of Kim‘s tell-all interview with GQ.
“I never talk s–t about anyone publicly, especially in interviews. But I was just like I had so had it,” Kim says in the clip to her sister Kourtney. “I wanted to defend him in it. She legitimately quote says, ‘As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet I’m gonna tell all the press. Like I was in on it.’”
“And then she just didn’t like the reaction?” Kourtney says in response.
“Yeah, and you know just another way to play the victim,” Kim replies. She then brings the infamous VMAs moment from 2009 by saying, “It definitely got her a lot of attention the first time… I just don’t think he should be punished for it still to this day.”
“I feel like I’ve had it with people blatantly treating my husband a certain way and making him look a certain way, and I’m gonna say how I feel,” Kim says in the clip. “Kanye is always so honest and speaks his mind. And you know, when we were first dating, people would always talk s–t and he always had my back. At this point, I really don’t give a f–k so I’ll do whatever to protect my husband.”

THR asked the 35-year-old outright if it was a stunt.
“Well, um. How best to put this? The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking,” Tom responded. “That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”
Meanwhile, Tom was nominated for his first ever Emmy for his work in The Night Manager!
“I didn’t have any expectations and suddenly my phone started blowing up a couple hours ago. This is the most wonderful surprise, and honestly the most thrilling thing about it is that it feels like an extraordinary and heartwarming affirmation for the whole team who made The Night Manager. Making The Night Manager was the most fulfilling team effort, and I’m so proud of everybody,” Tom said.
