Teddy Sears' 'VMAN' Feature - Exclusive Preview!

Teddy Sears shows off his buff arms in this feature for VMAN Magazine’s latest issue, provided exclusively to JustJared.com.

Here is what the 35-year-old Masters of Sex actor had to share with the mag:

On playing hockey in beer leagues on the West Coast: “Jerry Bruckheimer actually has a league. The guys who go out and play are nasty. Cuba Gooding Jr. is always out there and he’s great. Taylor Kitsch came out and played. He’s crazy good! But I think he’s Canadian, so he has to be or else he’ll get booted out of his own country.”

On his role on American Horror Story: “I realized there were only so many handsome Ivy League douche bags I can play before it’s no longer a challenge or fun. I’m just looking for something three-dimensional at this point, and I found that in Patrick. He truly struggles with his emotional and physical needs in his relationship with Zachary Quinto‘s Chad.”

On portraying vulnerability: “It’s funny because sometimes I wish that weren’t so on the surface. It’s my ego, because it makes me feel like less of a man, which is all horseshit because I think that real men have that and can expose the part of them that is sad or vulnerable.”

On his new Showtime series Masters of Sex: “They started using prostitutes and female volunteers to see what happened to the body physiologically during sex. It was only studied through masturbation up until then. At a certain point they realized that they should expand the study and include couples. I play a doctor, based on a real person, who they recruit to be be the first male volunteer to take part in their experiments.”
