Neil Patrick Harris poses for a photo with his adorable family while attending a private screening of The Lion King on Tuesday (July 16) in New York City.

The 46-year-old actor was joined by his husband David Burtka and their eight-year-old twins Gideon and Harper for the family night out.

The event was held to celebrate the launch of Style Kingdom, a pop-up at Bloomingdale’s that’s inspired by The Lion King. Cast member Florence Kasumba curated the pop-up and she stopped by the launch!

The next night, David hosted A Summer Night Out at the Soho Grand Hotel to share ways Capitol One rewards cards can help extend the summer.

The Lion King hits theaters in just a few hours and we have the scoop on if there’s anything after the credits.

So should you stay after the credits begin to roll? The answer is nope! There aren’t any scenes after the end credits.

The live-action remake stars Donald Glover, Beyonce, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, John Kani, John Oliver, and James Earl Jones.

Can you believe it’s been 25 years since the original The Lion King hit theaters?!

The 1994 animated film was a huge success in the box office making $968.5 million and won countless awards, including the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and the Academy Award for Best Original Song with “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”

Just like the 2019 live-action film, the original film had a star-studded original cast – and we’re providing an update on the cast!

The new live-action The Lion King is hitting theaters tonight at midnight, and we’re taking some time to remember the original animated movie!

Disney released the animated movie back in 1994 with original music from Elton John and Tim Rice, and a score composed by Hans Zimmer.

At the Academy Awards the following year, three of the songs – “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” “Circle of Life,” and “Hakuna Matata” – were all nominated for Best Original Song while “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” took home the award.

Hans also took home the award for Best Original Score at the event.

Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen dished on the royal protocol rules they were given ahead of meeting Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle at the premiere of their film, The Lion King.

“You’re given a lot of protocol to follow which is unusual,” Seth said while making an appearance on UK’s This Morning. “Respect their personal space. They’re the only people I’ve met who come with protocol so that was interesting. And then I think what we were trying to gauge is how many people were following the protocol and how strict the protocol is.”

“I assume you get put in the Tower Of London if it all goes wrong. I’ve got to think of the repercussions. I’d like to come back here one day,” he added.

Billy then added, “Like Seth said, they tell you you’re supposed to say your Royal Highness, you can’t speak until your hands are locked together in a handshake and all these crazy things, and I didn’t know how much you were supposed to follow that so I started panicking. We were watching what our friend Keegan (Keegan-Michael Key) did and he did none of the protocol either and just kind of nodded his head, then it all fell apart.”

The 37-year-old entertainer wore the new Sir John x Disney The Lion King Highlighter Palette from Luminess Cosmetics all over her arms, legs, neckline, and shoulders.

The gold-tone highlighter was inspired by the iconic sunset in The Lion King and it is a multi-use, face and body highlighter that adds a touch of glow to any look for a lit from within skin finish.

“If you noticed, the London premiere was my attempt at harnessing the power and sultry essence of a lioness. Not literal in interpretation, however there’s an undeniable feline presence,” Beyonce‘s makeup artist Sir John told Us Weekly.

Beyonce was also wearing the “Can’t Wait to Be Queen” Eyeshadow Palette and other products from the Sir John x Disney The Lion King beauty line at the premiere.
