Who Are Halle Bailey's Mermaid Sisters In 'The Little Mermaid'? Meet Simone Ashley, Karolina Conchet & More!

All fans of The Little Mermaid know that Ariel has six sisters in the original animated movie – and the live action is no different.

Halle Bailey‘s red-head mermaid still has six sisters, although their names have definitely changed.

Instead of Attina, Alana, Adella, Aquata, Arista, and Andrina, fans will now get to meet Mala, Indira, Caspia, Tamika, Perla and Karina.

All six sisters are featured and fleshed out in one of the movie’s books, “The Little Mermaid: Guide to Merfolk“, and Just Jared has put together this guide about who stars as the Daughters of Triton.

'The Little Mermaid' Director Explains The Real Reasons Why Scuttle Was Changed From Seagull to Gannet

Earlier this week, fans started to notice once again that Scuttle wasn’t a seagull in the upcoming live action version of The Little Mermaid.

While it’s been touched on in previous interviews, there hasn’t been a full explaination for the change until now.

Director Rob Marshall opened up in a new interview with IndieWire about turning Scuttle into a Northern Gannet, which is able to dive underwater and stay there for some time.
