Lin-Manuel Miranda Surprises 'Tonight Show' Audience Member with Epic 'Hamilton'-Inspired Freestyle!

Lin-Manuel Miranda made a lucky audience member very happy on Tuesday’s (October 24) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon!

The 37-year-old Hamilton creator joined Jimmy‘s house band for a segment called “Freestylin’ with The Roots” in which the musicians made up songs for those in studio inspired by their lives.

Lin-Manuel appeared during the very last freestyle and got an audience member who feels if a Broadway show was made about her life it would be called “The Sassy Life” and she would be played by Adele.

Jared Leto and Jimmy Fallon are putting their musical knowledge to the test!

The Blade Runner 2049 actor and the late night TV host squared off in a game of Name That Song on The Tonight Show on Wednesday night (September 27) in New York City.

The two battled it out by listening to The Roots play different songs, one instrument at a time.

Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande & More Unite for Concert for Charlottesville!

Ariana Grande struts her stuff on stage while performing at the Concert for Charlottesville: An Evening of Music and Unity held at University of Virginia’s Scott Stadium on Sunday (September 24) in Charlottesville, Va.

The 24-year-old singer was joined at the event by fellow performers Dave Matthews Band, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, Coldplay‘s Chris Martin, The Roots, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, as well as a special appearance by Heather Heyer‘s mother, Susan Bro.

In response to the recent events in their hometown of Charlottesville, Dave Matthews Band hosted the event which was FREE for members of the Charlottesville and University of Virginia communities.

The concert was livestreamed to fans across the globe on Tumblr, through a media partnership with Oath.

Dave Matthews Band is set to host A Concert for Charlottesville tonight for the Charlottesville and University of Virginia communities after the terrible white-supremacist events that took place over the summer.

Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Chris Stapleton, Ariana Grande, The Roots, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, Cage the Elephant and more special guests will also join DMB for the concert.

Kesha gave a special acoustic performance while backstage at the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon music room during her appearance last week, and it’s a definite must-see!

The 30-year-old singer teamed up with The RootsQuestlove, Kirk Douglas, and Mark Kelley for a cover of The Animals’ classic “House Of The Rising Sun.”

Kesha‘s new album Rainbow is set to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200, according to Billboard.

Lead single “Praying” also hits a new Hot 100 high, jumping 32-24 with the chart’s top sales gain, as it pushes 11-7 on Digital Song Sales – Congrats!

Everyone from Sia, Adele, Madonna and Ed Sheeran have performed a rendition of one of their hit songs using classroom instruments on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – but that’s been done, it’s time to switch things up!

On last night’s (March 23) Tonight Show episode, Jimmy Fallon invited Migos to perform their smash hit “Bad and Boujee” with office supplies, instead of classroom instruments alongside The Roots.

Migos, Jimmy and the house band used everything from iPhone tones, scissors, an electric stapler, a thumbtack shaker, coffee pots, rubber band strings and more.

Migos also hit the stage to properly perform their other single “T-Shirt” off of their latest album Culture – Watch the performance after the cut!

Ed Sheeran Performs 'Shape of You' Using Classroom Instruments on 'Fallon' - Watch Now!

Ed Sheeran is the latest entertainer to perform a rendition of one of his songs using classroom instruments!

The 26-year-old singer joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots to create a new version of his hit song “Shape of You!” on the late night show on Monday (February 27).

While Ed sang and picked up a banana-shaped shaker, Jimmy multi-tasked while singing backup vocals, playing a drum and using another shaker!

Other performers have also played their songs with classroom instruments including Sia, Adele and Madonna!
