Ariana Grande & Jimmy Fallon Perform 'No Tears Left to Cry' With Cardboard Instruments (Video)

Ariana Grande joins Jimmy Fallon and The Roots to perform her hit “No Tears Left to Cry” with Nintendo Labo instruments, and it’s seriously epic.

The 24-year-old “Side to Side” crooner and the Tonight Show team showed off their musical skills in the episode that aired on Monday (May 14).

Each instrument in the video is made from only cardboard and a Nintendo Switch.

Ariana was on vocals, while Jimmy played the Guitar and Piano Studio. Other instruments included the Robot Kit, Electric Guitar Fishing Rod, Toy-Con Piano x2 (Organ), Toy-Con Piano x2, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Toy-Con Garage Drum Machine.

“It was totally bizarre and such a gamble,” Jimmy told IGN. “I didn’t know if it was going to sound good, but Ariana is always down to try something fun and different.”

Abbi Jacobson and A$AP Rocky share a big laugh while teaming up in an epic game of Password on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (April 4) in New York City.

The 34-year-old Broad City star and the 29-year-old rapper faced off against The RootsQuestlove and Tarik Trotter in the game while Jimmy served as moderator as they had to use one word clues to guess words.

Abbi also sat on the couch and gushed to Jimmy about her love of Mike Myers, including how she used to report news at school as SNL‘s Linda Richman from the Coffee Talk sketches, and explains how she tried to sneak her greeting cards into MoMA.

Bruce Willis Makes Surprise Appearance During Freestylin' with The Roots on 'Tonight Show'

Bruce Willis made a surprise appearance during Tuesday night’s (February 27) segment of “Freestylin’ With The Roots” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon!

The Roots front man Tariq Trotter (a.k.a. Black Thought) improv a song about him on the spot with the band mimicking Justin Timberlake‘s “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”

“If you wrote a song about yourself, it would probably make people get loose,” he sang of the Death Wish star. “And you know we’re really huge fans of you, so just welcome, Bruce.”

Bruce later sits on the couch with Jimmy and talks about the 30-year anniversary of Die Hard, drops hints about a Die Hard sequel and chats about going full berserker in his latest action film, Death Wish – Watch more after the cut!

Camila Cabello, Jimmy Fallon & The Roots Perform 'Havana' With Classroom Instruments - Watch Now!

Camila Cabello is having a great time performing her smash hit single!

The 20-year-old solo singer-songwriter made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (January 17).

During her appearance, Camila performed “Havana” alongside Jimmy Fallon and The Roots with classroom instruments!

Jimmy handled the wood block, bass drum, and a Casio keyboard, while Camila supplied her usual spot-on vocals for the performance – and a lemon shaker, too!

Anna Kendrick & Jimmy Fallon Sing 'Christmas' With Classroom Instruments (Video)

Anna Kendrick performed “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” using classroom instruments on The Tonight Show!

The 32-year-old Pitch Perfect 3 actress and the talk show host were joined by the song’s original artist Darlene Love as well as The Roots for the episode on Monday (December 18) at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Anna and Darlene were on vocals, while Darlene also held an ornament shaker, and Jimmy played the wood block, bass drum, and Casio keyboard.

Other instruments included hand clappers, sleigh bells, xylophone, melodica, ukulele, kazoo, banana shaker, and bongos.
