NBC has announced their Fall 2012-2013 television schedule!

The hit network made some shocking choices, including adding Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Cee Lo Green‘s The Voice to the fall lineup on Monday and Tuesday nights, according to Deadline! The Voice had previously aired as part of the Spring lineup.

Absent from the schedule are Smash and The Biggest Loser. Smash is expected to have a mid-season premiere.

New shows on the schedule include Go On, Ryan Murphy‘s The New Normal, Animal Practice, Revolution, Chicago Fire, and Guys with Kids.

Justin Bieber performs his hit song “Boyfriend” on the second season finale of The Voice on Tuesday (May 8).

This was the first time that the 18-year-old singer performed the song on live television!

Justin was the last artist to perform on the show, with only the results being saved for after his performance. In case you missed it, make sure to find out who was crowned the winner!

“BIG DAY TODAY. Performing #BOYFRIEND for the first time Live on the FINALE of @NBCTheVoice,” Justin tweeted earlier in the day.

The Voice‘s second season came to a close with its finale on Tuesday (May 8) and the winner has been announced!

Coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton each entered the finale with one contestant standing. In the final performance round, each contestant sang an original song and a duet with his or her coach.

The final four contestants included Chris Mann (Team Christina), Tony Lucca (Team Adam), Juliet Simms (Team Cee Lo), and Jermaine Paul (Team Blake).

The 31-year-old judge for the reality competition series was joined by her team members Chris Mann, Ashley De La Rosa, Jesse Campbell, and Lindsey Pavao. The Crenshaw High School choir also joined Christina‘s team on stage!

The celebrity coaches from The Voice reacted to unflattering comments American Idol judge Randy Jackson made about the NBC talent competition, insinuating it was a “second chance place”.

“Shame on Randy Jackson for saying that, because he, out of anybody, should know that if you’re in this business you need second, third, fourth and fifth chances,” Adam said. “So we love and embrace that being part of the show.”

“You know, God bless Randy. He was a working musician for a long time and had a lot of success and then the show Idol kind of blew him out of the water. And he is a household name now. It was an irresponsible thing to say that,” Adam continued.
