Glenn's Fate Finally Revealed on 'The Walking Dead': Is He Dead or Alive?

SPOILERS! Don’t continue reading if you have not watched the Sunday (November 22) episode of The Walking Dead.

We finally know the fate of Glenn (Steven Yeun) on The Walking Dead!

When last we left Glenn, he was seemingly plunging to his death off the top of a dumpster into a pile of Walkers. Nicholas shot himself on the top of the dumpster, and the blow back caused Glenn to fall. The zombies could be seen eating internal organs, but it was left a mystery if those organs belonged to Glenn or Nicholas.

In the beginning on tonight’s episode, Glenn could be seen slipping under the dumpster, alive and safe, as the Walkers ate Nicholas. Glenn waited until morning to disappear after the zombies had cleared out.

Steven made his first statement about the whole mystery during a commercial break for Into the Badlands.

“I’ve been following everything you’ve been saying and it’s meant so much to me to see all of your support and concern for Glenn. The Walking Dead has the best fans in the world and I’m happy to be back,” Steven said.

Glenn’s character has a very specific fate in the comic book series, but we have no idea if the series will be true to the books or follow a new path.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan Cast as Villain Negan on 'The Walking Dead'

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, well known for his roles on Grey’s Anatomy and The Good Wife, has just been cast as the famous villain Negan on The Walking Dead!

The 49-year-old actor will first appear in the season six finale, THR reports. Negan is a very violent criminal in the comic book series, well known for his frequent cursing and intimidation tactics.

“There’s a particular story in that arc that I’m very excited for. But because we know where we’re going, we have some opportunities to play around with it and put some things in that will lead up to [Negan and Alexandria] in different ways yet fulfill the story Robert told to the Nth degree by utilizing some slightly different approaches. Lineups and timelines and the whole nine yards,” showrunner Scott M. Gimple told the publication.

'The Walking Dead' Renewed for Season Seven!

This news is not going to come as a surprise to anyone – The Walking Dead has officially been renewed for a seventh season by AMC!

At the end of the seventh season, the series will become AMC’s longest-running original scripted series with 99 episodes, topping Mad Men‘s 92 episodes.

“Thank goodness someone had a Magic 8-Ball with them in our many long internal meetings about these renewals. When, on the third shake, ‘without a doubt’ filled the murky blue screen, we knew we had to proceed with new seasons of The Walking Dead and Talking Dead,” AMC/Sundance TV president Charlie Collier said in a statement (via THR). “All joking aside, we are so proud to share these shows with fans who have been so passionate, communicative and engaged. We are grateful for and continually impressed by the talent, effort and excellence on continuous display by Robert Kirkman, Scott Gimple, Chris Hardwick and the many people with whom we partner to make these unique shows possible. The result: More Walking and Talking. Hooray.”

'The Walking Dead' Showrunner Responds to Possible Fan Favorite Character's Death (Spoilers)

SPOILER ALERT — do not continue reading if you don’t want to know what happened on The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead showrunner Scott M. Gimple has officially made a comment after the huge fan response over the possible death on the episode tonight (October 25).

“Dear fans of The Walking Dead, this is a hard story to tell and when we were planning to tell we knew our friends at the Talking Dead would be talking to you about it and knowing you’d all be talking, and feeling and commiserating, I knew we should say something about it lest our silence say something we didn’t mean to say or not say,” Scott said in a statement on The Talking Dead. “So I’ll say this: In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story to help complete the story.”
