The Wanted‘s hot new song “We Own the Night” is this week’s pick for JustJared.com and KIIS-FM 102.7‘s JJ Music Monday.

The song will be released on iTunes on August 12 and the music video for the track was already shot. We can’t wait to see it!

“We Own the Night” is the first single off of the band’s new album Word of Mouth, which will hit stores on September 16.

The Wanted arrive at the viewing party for their E! reality television show The Wanted Life held at the W Westwood on Tuesday (May 28) in Westwood, Calif.

That same day, the guys – Max George, Siva Kanaswaran, Tom Parker, and Jay McGuiness – made an appearance on Chelsea Lately to promote the show and talk about their feud with One Direction.

The guys – Max George, Siva Kanaswaran, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness, and Nathan Sykes – pay homage to their boy band predecessors by re-creating some classic scenes from music videos by *NSYNC, Take That, and the Backstreet Boys.

“Thank you for all your amazing feedback,” the band wrote on their Twitter account. “We’re glad you’re liking it! #WalksLikeRihanna.”

“She can’t sing, she can’t dance, but who cares, she walks like Rihanna,” the guys sing on the Dr. Luke-produced track.

“We’ll have the video up for you very soon..can’t wait for you to see it. We had some fun with ;) #WalksLikeRihanna out June 23!” the band tweeted on the song’s premiere day.

The Wanted‘s Nathan Sykes has announced he will be taking time off from the band to undergo surgery tomorrow (April 18) on his throat in Los Angeles.

“We can confirm that The Wanted‘s Nathan Sykes will under go specialist throat surgery on Thursday 18th April in Los Angeles and as such will be taking unforeseen hiatus form The Wanted,” a statement from the 19-year-old management team read. “

The priority for Nathan, his label and management is that he is given time to recover and receive the best treatment possible.

 The remaining four members of The Wanted will continue fulfilling the bands promotional commitments across the world.”

“Our lil Nath has to go in for an op on his throat on his birthday to make him better so join us in wishing him well,” The Wanted wrote on their Facebook page. “We love ya! #GetWellNath. We will be passing on all your words of support and love, it means the world to him and you definitely help us all through this.”

“Can’t sleep. So much on my mind.” Nathan wrote on his Twitter last night.

According to some reports, Nathan will be on vocal rest for a month. The Wanted are set to begin their world tour later this year.

One Direction‘s Louis Tomlinson and The Wanted‘s Tom Parker have continued the bands’ ongoing feud on Twitter this evening (April 7).

The fight sparked after word spread that Louis, 21, reportedly mentioned The Wanted during one of their shows at the O2 Arena in London.

“@Louis_Tomlinson you even talk about us at your own gigs. Are you that upset you didn’t get in this band?” Tom tweeted.

“@TomTheWanted Pal, we both know I wouldn’t waste my time auditioning for your band. You humour me with your bad boy persona,” Louis responded.
