Daniel Bruhl is nearly unrecognizable on set of his new show!
The 44-year-old Golden Globe-nominated actor transformed into a young Karl Lagerfeld to film scenes for the upcoming Disney+ series Kaiser Karl on Friday (May 19) in Rome, Italy.
Daniel was seen with his brown hair tied back in a low ponytail while wearing striped blazer and matching vest with a purple tie and sunglasses.
For his time on set, Daniel filmed a few scenes at an outdoor cafe before he was seen giving French actor and co-star Théodore Pellerin a kiss on the cheek.

The 37-year-old actress stepped out for a panel discussion at the event on Friday afternoon (August 2) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
She was also joined by her co-stars Mel Rodriguez, Beth Ditto and Theodore Pellerin, as well as co-creator Matt Lutsky and executive producers Esta Spalding and Robert Funke.
The dark comedy is set in Orlando in the early 1990s. It follows a minimum-wage-earning water park employee who will eventually scheme her way to the top of Founders American Merchandise, a cultish pyramid scheme that drives her family to ruin.
“These kinds of schemes are all about people being asked to monetize their relationship. What’s heartbreaking is not only the debt and the loss…The losses become familial as well…Everyone on this show wants something more in their life but there is no way they could do that making minimum wage in 1992. People are trying to be happy in their daily lives and being preyed upon,” Esta said during the panel.

The upcoming Focus Features film, set to hit select theaters later this year on September 28, debuted a series of pictures from the movie on Tuesday (May 22).
