Chris Hemsworth is ready for action in the first official teaser trailer for his upcoming highly anticipated flick Thor: The Dark World, sequel to Thor.

Here’s a synopsis: After surviving an alien attack in The Avengers, Earth can’t catch a break, with a force Odin (Anthony Hopkins) says predates existence itself threatening to plunge the universe back into darkness.

The Alan Taylor-directed film also stars Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Zachary Levi, Jaimie Alexander, and more.

The film will hit theaters on November 8!

Natalie Portman waits around on the set of Thor: The Dark World on Wednesday (November 21) in London, England.

The 31-year-old actress’ face was made up to look super dirty for her upcoming scenes in the superhero action flick.

Last week, her co-star Chris Hemsworth was spotted in his Thor costume on the set! He filmed some action sequences throughout the week with some costumed villains.
