Tilda Swinton holds up her trophy with pride at the ceremony to receive the Douglas Sirk Award held at the Cinemaxx Dammtor on Wednesday (October 2) in Hamburg, Germany.
The 52-year-old actress received many congratulations at the event for the honor – she was spotted chatting with Klaus Wyborny, a German filmmaker, about the award.
The Douglas Sirk Award has been around since 1995, and has been presented to a well-deserving film artist for his or her contribution to cinematic culture. Past winners include Jodie Foster and David Cronenberg.
