Tilda Swinton gets her nails done during Art Basel Miami Beach 2011 on Friday (December 2) at the Standard Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla.

Her nails were designed by artist Dzine at the Imperial Nail Salon Presented by Perrier.

It was just announced that the 51-year-old actress won the Best Actress prize from the National Board of Review for her work in the film We Need to Talk About Kevin!

The film, which will hit theaters on January 27, is about the mother (Swinton) of a teenage boy (Ezra Miller) who went on a high-school killing spree trying to deal with her grief – and feelings of responsibility for her child’s actions.

FYI: Tilda also just picked up the Best Actress prize at the European Film Awards! Congrats!

Tilda Swinton hits the red carpet at IFP’s Gotham Independent Film Awards, held at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday (November 28) in New York City.

The 51-year-old actress, who wore Haider Ackermann and accessorized with Pomellato jewelry, introduced the nominees for Best Feature at the big show.

Tilda recently spoke with the New York Post about what she’d be doing with her life if she hadn’t become an actress.

“Truth is I never wanted [to become an actress],” she said. “I desperately wanted to train horses, bring up dogs, be a gardener or maybe a gambler. I slipped into this and somehow always intend whatever movie I’m doing to be my last.

Tilda Swinton attends Marie Claire’s Prix de la Moda Awards on Thursday (November 17) at the French Embassy in Madrid, Spain.

The 51-year-old We Need to Talk About Kevin actress was honored at the event and came out to support her designer pal, Haider Ackermann, who also picked up an award.

Tilda recently revealed that she’s always dresses herself and does not use the help of a stylist.

“You mean there’s somebody in your hotel room who actually takes your clothes out of a suitcase and lays them out for you? Really?” she told Stylelist. “Or is that just a fantasy. There is nobody in my suitcase, but myself, I can tell you that.”

The 51-year-old actress stars in the drama, which tells the story of the mother of a teenage boy who went on a high-school killing spree trying to deal with her grief – and feelings of responsibility for her child’s actions.

Also spotted at the screening was Andrew Garfield!

Dita Von Teese and Mia Wasikowska glam up for a special screening and party for the new film We Need To Talk About Kevin on Thursday (November 10) at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles.

The film is about the mother of a teenage boy who went on a high-school killing spree trying to deal with her grief – and feelings of responsibility for her child’s actions.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has topped Harper’s Bazaar Britain‘s Best Dressed list!

The 29-year-old Duchess was chosen as the most stylish of the year, beating out Florence Welch, Kate Moss, Tilda Swinton, Keira Knightley, Alexa Chung, and Emma Watson.

“She gave us the year’s – if not the century’s – most thrilling fashion moment”, Harper’s Bazaar‘s editor, Lucy Yeomans, said in a statement. Judges called Kate’s sense of style an “incredible style evolution that has gripped us all.”
