Tim Tebow shows off his amazing shirtless strength and physique in the new feature in Vogue‘s October 2012 issue.

The 25-year-old football star rolled a huge tire across a field for the photo shoot – look at those muscles!

“I’ve been blessed to have an amazing mom and two amazing sisters—so they set a very high standard,” Tim told the mag about picking a significant other. “Obviously looks play a big part. Being attracted to someone plays a big part, but there’s also so much more than that for me. It’s about finding someone sweet and kind—and that has a servant’s heart. It’s about finding a girl who likes me for me, and not because of what I do or who I am or the name.”

On his words for Jets fans: “I think if they’re a Jets fan, hopefully they’ll be rooting for me. I’ll do whatever I can to help this team win football games. I’ll give my heart and soul whenever I step on that field and even when I’m on the sidelines. And at the end of the day, that’s really all you can ask of someone.”

Cam Newton, the 23-year-old Carolina Panthers quarterback, shares a dual cover for the issue. Here’s what he had to share:

On being the backup to Tim Tebow in college: “If I had said to Tim, ‘Man, can we spend some extra time to study the playbook?’ he would have done it. I didn’t take advantage of what was right in front of me. If I had, maybe his mentality would have hit me sooner. Basically, I was immature and unfocused. I would never, ever make that mistake again.”

Eli, the quarterback for the New York Giants, is nominated for Best Championship Performance. He is up against baseball player David Freese, basketball player LeBron James, Nascar racer Tony Stewart, and hockey player Jonathan Quick.

Drew, the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, is nominated for Best Record-Breaking Performance for breaking the passing yards record. He met up with country singer Kenny Chesney on the red carpet!

Tim Tebow suits up for the 2012 Met Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

The 24-year-old NFL quarterback wore a Ralph Lauren Purple Label tuxedo, shirt, bowtie, silver cufflinks, stud set, and a Ralph Lauren Slim Classique white gold timepiece.

On the red carpet, Tim said he felt “blessed” that he was attending the big event and also dished on practicing with his new team, the New York Jets.

This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit – celebrating the opening of the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition – is co-chaired by Carey Mulligan, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and designer Miuccia Prada.
