Timothy Olyphant Steps Out To Promote 'Deadwood' Movie - Watch Teaser!

Timothy Olyphant is all smiles as he arrives at the Film Independent presents an evening with Deadwood: The Movie held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday (April 23) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 50-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Ian McShane, John Hawkes, Gerald McRaney, as well as the film’s executive producer Carolyn Strauss and Daniel Minahan.

“My mindset was, ‘S–t. I guess I’m going to have to make some kind of decision here.’,” Timothy on returning to the role (via TVLine). “It was a very curious process. I did not expect to be in the position to actually have to make a decision; I just assumed it would go away. It’s a curious [thing] deciding on whether to do a job when all of your old friends have already committed to it and you kind of think, ‘Well, I’ve never been in a position to be such an a–hole.’ But it was [ultimately] a really wonderful process with [series creator/writer] David Milch and [director] Dan Minahan and [HBO]‘s Carolyn Strauss. I had a lot of conversations with them. The whole process was quite rewarding.”

Timothy Olyphant Tells Hilarious Story About His Dog Accidentally Eating His Weed Edibles - Watch!

Timothy Olyphant made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday (April 9) and told a hilarious story about how his dog accidentally ate his weed edibles.

“Listen New York, because it’s coming. The legal drugs are coming, and they’re gonna give you these little things that look like gummy bears,” the 50-year-old Missing Link actor declared. “They look little kid treats. And what they don’t tell you is that dogs don’t know they’re drugs.”

“Because you think, oh, it’s legal now, you can just leave it anywhere! Cops show up, who cares? Leave it on the couch! I’m not concerned! But the dog doesn’t know. He doesn’t know those are drugs,” Timothy continued. “Little Bruno, a little guy, he had like six.”

“By the way, if you ever ask yourself, I wonder if you show up to a vet clinic with a stoned dog, if they’ll be like, ‘Oh my god, what?!’, they won’t,” Timothy concluded. “He’ll be like the third dog that showed up high. They’ll be like, ‘No, no we had a boxer here earlier today, way more stoned than that.’ They say, ‘come back in 45 minutes to pick him up. We’ll give you a brochure when you leave.’ They’ve printed a brochure! That’s how common it is.”
