Julia Louis-Dreyfus looks pretty in a chic black dress as she arrives at the 2017 Peabody Awards on Saturday (May 20) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The 56-year-old actress was joined at the event by her Veep co-star Timothy Simons along with the host of the event Rashida Jones.

During the event, Julia and Veep were honored at the event for “existing to recognize when storytelling is done well in electronic media.”

Lupita Nyong’o also made an appearance at the event to honor Ava DuVernay for her Netflix documentary 13th.

The Peabody Awards is set to air on PBS later this month.

Golden Globe nominees Claire Foy and Sarah Paulson were both recognized for their outstanding work in television at the 2017 AFI Awards luncheon.

The luncheon took place on Friday afternoon (January 6) at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

Claire and John Lithgow were honored for their portrayals in The Crown, and Sarah and John Travolta were honored for their performances in The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

Also in attendance were Veep‘s Timothy Simons and Reid Scott.

The 44-year-old actress was joined at the event by her Black-ish co-star Anthony Anderson as they arrived on the red carpet.

The ladies were joined by castmates Gary Cole, Timothy Simons, Matt Walsh, Kevin Dunn, and Sam Richardson for the event.

Julia recently talked to Us Weekly and revealed what Bill Clinton told her about his thoughts on her HBO show, which returns for season four on Sunday night.

“I had Bill Clinton say to me, ‘You know what the best part of your job is? No term limits. No term limits!’” Julia said. “That was pretty cool.”
