Check out Amy Poehler and Tina Fey‘s second hilarious promo for the upcoming 2013 Golden Globe Awards!

The two ladies, who are the hosts of this year’s affair, promise in the clip, a night to remember.

“It is going to be splendid!” Amy says. “Wondrous!” Tina adds, before the two go on to name more adjectives including “slightly ghetto” and “drunken,” etc.

“That’s just the red carpet, y’all,” Tina buttons at the end.

Martin Short says a quick hello to Tina Fey and SNL creator/producer Lorne Michaels during his opening monologue as host of last night’s Saturday Night Live!

The 62-year-old comedian sang his own rendition of “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” where numerous other stars cameo’d including Kristen Wiig, Tom Hanks, Jimmy Fallon, and Samuel L. Jackson!

“SNL has always been my first love, followed by my movies, then theater, then my money and my family,” Martin joked during the opening.

The show opened with a tribute to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings with the New York City Children’s Chorus singing “Silent Night”. Check out the song inside, and watch Martin‘s opening below.

Naomi Watts and her husband Liev Schreiber arrive at the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors held at the Kennedy Center Hall of States on Sunday (December 2) in Washington, DC.

The 44-year-old actress and Liev, 45, were joined by Tina Fey, Lenny Kravitz, Glenn Close, Dustin Hoffman, Alec Baldwin with his wife Hilaria Thomas, Robert De Niro, David Letterman, and Jimmy Kimmel with his wife Molly McNearney.

The 2012 honorees are Dustin, David, dancer Natalia Makarova, Buddy Guy, and members of the British rock band Led Zeppelin – Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones.

FYI: Tina is wearing a Naeem Khan dress. Naomi is wearing a Roland Mouret dress and Monique Pean earrings.

Tina Fey glams up in a Diane Von Furstenberg dress at the 2012 Museum of Natural History Gala held at the famed museum on Thursday (November 15) in New York City.

The 42-year-old actress was joined at the event by Olivia Wilde (with boyfriend Jason Sudeikis) and her former Saturday Night Live Weekend Update co-anchor Jimmy Fallon.

Tina Fey films on location for her comedy series 30 Rock on Monday (October 22) in New York City.

The 42-year-old actress was joined on the set by her co-stars Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski.

At a recent party for 30 Rock, Tina‘s husband Jeff Richmond was her knight in shining armor, making sure she was comfortable the whole night, a source told Us Weekly.

“They are all about family now and they love being together,” a second insider told the mag. “They never stop having fun.”

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are set to host the 2013 Golden Globe Awards together!

The former SNL Weekend Update co-anchors will host the ceremony on Sunday, January 13, 2013. It will be aired on NBC.

“Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year’s festivities is a major coup,” Paul Telegdy, NBC’s President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, said. “Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama.”
