Tom Brady Gives Update on Mom Galynn After Cancer Battle

Tom Brady is giving an update on his mom Galynn after her battle with breast cancer.

“She’s doing really well,” the 40-year-old NFL star told People. “I think any family that has dealt with cancer realizes the challenge it is not only at that moment, but as it continues to be.”

“I think she’s got so much appreciation for the people who have supported her. She’s such a wonderful woman and she’s been so positive through it all and we’ve been so proud of her,” he added.

In a previous interview, Galynn confirmed that she had been diagnosed with stage two breast cancer.

“I remember sitting in the doctor’s office and them telling me, ‘You have breast cancer and it’s only stage two,’” Galynn said.

Galynn finished her cancer treatments last year.

Tom Brady Says Wife Gisele & Kids Will Play 'Big Part' in Retirement Decision

Tom Brady is all smiles as he greets fans outside of Good Morning America‘s Times Square studio on Monday morning (March 12) in New York City.

The 40-year-old New England Patriots quarterback sat down for an interview with Michael Strahan to talk about loss at the Super Bowl, playing football at 40, his docu-series Tom vs. Time and his family being a big part of when he decides to retire.

“You can’t make decisions necessarily just for yourself, and I think that’s one thing I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older: There is collateral effects to every decision that I make,” Tom said during the interview.

“I have a wife [Gisele Bundchen] that aspires to be a lot of things, and she travels a lot. My oldest son lives here in New York,” Tom continued. “Three kids, and you’re just always trying to juggle and you want to be there for them, and you want to be there for the hockey games and the soccer games. But you also realize the level of commitment it takes to give as much as you can to the team that needs you.”

Tom Brady Breaks Silence After Super Bowl, Kisses Gisele Bundchen in New Photo

Tom Brady‘s 2018 Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles happened just over a week ago, and he took to Instagram this weekend to address his emotions.

“It has taken me a few days to reflect on our SB loss as well as the great season our team had. There are many emotions when you come up short of your goal. And they are all part of learning and growing in this journey of life. Learning turns everything into a postitive. And the number one feeling I have had the past 4 days is gratitude,” Tom wrote on Friday (February 9).

Tom posted a sweet photo of him kissing his wife Gisele Bundchen on Sunday (February 11) with the caption, “This Sunday’s outcome is a lot better than last Sunday’s! #losingstreakstopsatone.”

Gisele Bundchen Fires Back at Super Bowl 2018 Quote: 'Tired of People Twisting My Words'

Gisele Bundchen is firing back at a report that her husband Tom Brady‘s NFL team, the New England Patriots, “let” the Philadelphia Eagles win the 2018 Super Bowl.

If you don’t know, the Eagles beat the Patriots 41-33 this past Sunday. This is the first ever Super Bowl win for the Eagles franchise, while Tom Brady himself has five total Super Bowl wins with the Patriots.

Apparently, Gisele was being quoted as saying to her kids, “Sometimes you have to let other people win…We have to share. Sharing is caring.”

Gisele took to Twitter to clarify the reports.

“Just to be clear. No one “let” anyone win. People win because of their own merit. Tired of people twisting my words to create drama that doesn’t exist!,” she tweeted.
