Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway get close in a new TV spot for their upcoming flick The Dark Knight Rises.

Two new commercials have been released for the final installment of Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy.

Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman also make appearances in the commercials.

Earlier in the week, new character posters for Batman, Catwoman, and Bane were revealed. Check them out!

The actors star as Batman, Catwoman, and Bane, respectively, in Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming action flick, hitting theaters July 20.

Tom, who’s been busy promoting his other movie, Lawless, recently shared how he approaches and prepares for any role.

“You sit and you dwell and you wait and you read and you think and you meditate,” he told the Associated Press about the process. “It takes time to think and ponder, and the work is never done because it just continues. It’s looking for evidence of things.”

The 34-year-old English actor was in town to promote and premiere his latest project, Lawless, during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

“When I’m working, I have this discipline and I get meaning from it,” Tom recently told the Associated Press.

“It gives me purpose. And then I can turn to my little boy [4-year-old son Louis] and say, ‘Daddy does something. And I do it well. I may not be the best, but I’m the best that I can be. Now eat your f—— greens,’” he joked.

The 34-year-old actor is in town to promote his new film Lawless at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Later in the day, he attended both a photo call and the film’s premiere along with his co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Jessica Chastain.

Lawless is set in the Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia and follows a bootlegging gang threatened by authorities who want a cut of their profits.

Jessica and Mia also met up with co-star Shia LaBeouf earlier in the day for a photo call!

Lawless is a gangster tale inspired by the true life stories told in author Matt Bondurant‘s novel “The Wettest County in the World.”

Lawless is based on Matt Bondurant‘s 2008 historical novel “The Wettest County in the World,” and tells the story of three brothers (Hardy, LaBeouf, and Clarke) who get into the bootlegging business.
