No Doubt Pulls 'Looking Hot' Video Due to Racism Claims

No Doubt has pulled their “Looking Hot” video off of YouTube after complaints from fans and the Native American community.

In the video, lead singer Gwen Stefani is seen wearing traditional Native American clothing while being tied to poles and fighting cowboys.

“As a multi-racial band our foundation is built upon both diversity and consideration for other cultures. Our intention with our new video was never to offend, hurt or trivialize Native American people, their culture or their history. Although we consulted with Native American friends and Native American studies experts at the University of California, we realize now that we have offended people. This is of great concern to us and we are removing the video immediately. The music that inspired us when we started the band, and the community of friends, family, and fans that surrounds us was built upon respect, unity and inclusiveness. We sincerely apologize to the Native American community and anyone else offended by this video. Being hurtful to anyone is simply not who we are,” the band wrote on its official website.

Gwen Stefani Covers 'Nylon' November 2012 - Exclusive Pic & Quote!

Gwen Stefani and her No Doubt band mates Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont jam out in this Nylon magazine exclusive picture from the November 2012 issue.

The 43-year-old rocker chick also provided an exclusive quote about writing “Dont Speak”.

“I was pissed! I was being dumped in front of everybody. And I just remember finding so much power in songwriting[...] We were never bitter or mad, but it was like, I can tell this is happening…is it really going to happen? How can you do this? We’re best friends, you know? But, it did, and thank God. Or I wouldn’t have made all those songs,” Gwen said.

Gwen Stefani: It Was Just Chaos Recording with My Children!

Gwen Stefani and her No Doubt band members Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont exit their hotel to promote their new album Push and Shove on Wednesday (September 26) in London, England.

The night before, the 42-year-old singer donned a loose black top and leggings while heading out to dinner at Novikov restaurant with her band mates in London.

Earlier this week, No Doubt made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Gwen talked about recording in the studio with her children.

“It was challenging. We [the band] would get together like three times a week, and I tried all versions where I would be like, ‘Oh, today I’m going to bring them [my children] with me.’ And that didn’t work. And then I’d go, ‘OK, today I’m not going to see them and then I’ll work all day and then I’ll be with them tomorrow.’ It was just chaos trying to figure it all out, which is one of the reasons it took as long as it did. Because I have to do that and I want to do that,” Gwen shared.
