The red band trailer for Matthew McConaughey‘s upcoming movie Gold has arrived and he shows off his bare butt in a clip!
The 47-year-old actor clearly transformed his body for the role. He packed on some weight and also donned a balding hairstyle for the role, which has been getting him lots of praise.
Matthew plays Kenny Wells, a prospector desperate for a lucky break, who teams up with a similarly eager geologist and sets off on an journey to find gold in the uncharted jungle of Indonesia. Getting the gold was hard, but keeping it would be even harder, sparking an adventure through the most powerful boardrooms of Wall Street. The film is inspired by a true story.
Joseph is joined in the program by Stockard Channing as the late Elizabeth Taylor and Brian Cox as the late Marlon Brando. The story is about the alleged road trip that the three stars went on after 9/11.
Joseph previously defended his casting by saying that Michael “definitely had an issue, a pigmentation issue, and that’s something I do believe. He was probably closer to my color than his original color.” He told Entertainment Tonight that there’s nothing malicious about the performance.
Directed by Fred Wolf from a script by Wolf and David Spade, Mad Families “centers on three families — one Hispanic, one African American, one Caucasian — who find themselves annoyingly sharing the same campsite during a busy Fourth of July holiday weekend. After realizing it was all because of a silly booking error, no one volunteers to vacate. So, they try to co-habitate peacefully, but shortly thereafter, madness ensues. From there, the male family members turn to a series of outlandish camp competitions to determine the one family who gets to stay. As the hysterical contests occur, the brassy, biting Charlie Jones (Sheen) begins to take the lead in learning what’s really important in life.”
Last night (January 9), Charlotte and Chanel attended the premiere party for Mad Families with Charlie and the rest of the cast at Catch in West Hollywood, Calif.
Mad Families, which also stars Leah Remini and Naya Rivera, is to premiere on Crackle this Thursday (January 12) – Watch the trailer below!
Laverne Cox is the first transgender woman to star as a transgender woman in broadcast series, and she couldn’t be more proud!
“I’m really, really grateful to have a job as an actor,” the 32-year-old actress recently expressed about her upcoming CBS drama series Doubt (via THR). “I’m an avid TV watcher, and there are people in my community who watch a lot of TV. Growing up, I did not see people like me on television. That folks can have a character like Cameron, who is Ivy League educated, it’s wonderful. And to be a black transgender woman in that position on CBS is really special. She wears really great stuff, too.”
Last night (January 9), Laverne joined her co-stars Dule Hill, Elliott Gould, Dreama Walker and Kobi Libii, as well as show creators Tony Phelan and Joan Rater at their SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Conversations with Doubt panel held at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Screening Room in Los Angeles.
Doubt premieres on CBS on Wednesday (February 15) at 10pm EST – Watch first look below!
