The video, a mere thirty-seven seconds long, shows words flying up from the ground, as if resurrecting themselves.
“In Bon Temps nothing stays buried forever,” the promo reads.
Season five of True Blood already looks to be as exciting as the previous four – Law & Order: SVU‘s Christopher Meloni has signed on to play the newest vampire on the series.

Christopher Meloni is the newest star of True Blood!
The 50-year-old Law & Order: SVU alum will play “an ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill and Eric in his hands,” True Blood executive producer Alan Ball told TVLine.
TVLine’s Michael Ausiello added on his WhoSay account that Chris‘ character is also “the mastermind of the mainstream movement.”
True Blood will return to HBO for a fifth season starting in the summer of 2012.

The 34-year-old actor headed on his trip to Hong Kong after hosting an evening at Moon Nightclub in Las Vegas late last week.

The 29-year-old actress and her 41-year-old co-star and husband were joined by True Blood creator Alan Ball at the panel.

Alan said that the fifth season of the show is already in the works and that he’s loving working on the show!
“Everything ends, and there will be an end for me on this show at some point,” he said (via TVLine). “But I don’t have any desire to leave because I’m having more fun than I have in my entire life.”

The 35-year-old True Blood actor and co-star Rutina Wesley chatted with JustJared.com about their hit HBO show and what fans can expect.
“Whatever you can imagine, that’s what’s gonna happen!” Kevin teased. “So far this season has been really awesome but it gets really intense in episode 6 or 7,” he added.
Rutina, meanwhile, also said to get ready for “a lot of drama!”

JJ: You’re becoming a jaguar, aren’t you? Reveal it to JustJared.com!
RK: [laughs] I don’t think Jason has the power to handle any kind of animalistic virtues that are bestowed upon him. He has a hard enough trouble being a human, let alone putting an animal into the mix.
JJ: You have so many films coming out!
RK: I can’t even believe it – I’ve been fooling people into hiring me!
JJ: How amazing has that been?
RK: Well you look at the 98% of actors that are out of work, and out of that 2%, only 1% of them are getting paid, so I just look at myself as being so unbelievably blessed. I’ve been trying to stay in somewhat in hiding hopefully thinking that this run doesn’t end.
