Donald Trump Pardoned These Celebrities Before Leaving Office

Donald Trump is having some very busy final days in office.

The former president pardoned or granted sentence commutations to 143 people, including former advisor Steve Bannon.

Amongst those he pardoned were rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. Both artists were publicly supportive of Trump’s administration, with Lil Wayne endorsing him on Twitter during the final days of his campaign.

Kodak and Lil Wayne also faced similar federal weapons charges. Kodak was sentenced for 46 months after he admitting to lying on background checks.

Police also found two of Kodak‘s weapons at crime scenes with his fingerprints and live rounds in the chamber that had been “used to fire at a “rival rap artist” according to The New York Times.

Lil Wayne faced up to 10 years in federal prison after he was found in possession of a gold-plated handgun on a private plane.

Not included in Trump‘s list was Tiger King star Joe Exotic, who had previously written to Kim Kardashian for help in securing a pardon. Click here to read what he wrote her.
