Tulisa is making music again!

The 30-year-old singer-songwriter and X Factor judge returned on Friday (April 5) with her new single, “Daddy.”

The song was co-written and co-produced by Tulisa and David Lucius King, and is Tulisa’s first release since signing a record deal with Xploded Music.

“I took some time out of the spotlight to refocus on what is important to me, and that’s music. I’ve spent a lot of time in the studio writing and recording new music, and now I have many new tracks ready to go,” she explains of the release.

“For me it’s not about chasing celebrity or chart positions. I lost my way for a while trying to make music for other people or what I think people wanted to hear. Now it’s all about putting out music that I love and is true to myself. These songs are a return to my roots and if you happen to like them, then brilliant!”

Tulisa‘s debut studio album, The Female Boss, was released in 2012.

Chris Brown keeps it cool and casual as he makes his way inside the PrettyLittleThing x Karl Kani Launch Celebration held at Nightingale Plaza on Tuesday (May 22) in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old singer was joined at the event by Teyana Taylor and her husband Iman Shumpert, Snoop Dogg, Tyga, Tamar Braxton, Christina Milian, Corinne Olympios and Tulisa Contostavlos.

Karl Kani and PrettyLittleThing have tapped Teyana to model looks from the 45-piece collection, which incorporates Karl’s logo and the brand’s signature stripes, and features various pieces including T-shirt dresses, crop tops, bodysuits, denim jackets and shorts and more streetwear-inspired pieces.

Tulisa Contostavlos has won in a legal fight against Britney Spears and will.i.am over their smash hit, “Scream & Shout.”

The 29-year-old singer had been fighting in court for five years, claiming that she both co-wrote and featured on the 2012 song.

Tulisa co-wrote the song with Will‘s producers, which was originally meant to appear on her album The Female Boss. The producers then reportedly ditched her after deciding they disliked her version, releasing it with will.i.am and Britney instead.

During the court case, the court also found that Tulisa‘s vocals were still present alongside Britney‘s voice on the released version, according to Metro.

Tulisa will now be credited as a writer on the song, winning 10% of worldwide publishing rights and income.

Nicole Scherzinger is white hot at the X Factor UK press conference held at the Corinthia Hotel London on Thursday (August 16) in London, England.

The 34-year-old entertainer and judge was joined by fellow judges Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos, as well as host Dermot O’Leary and The Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack.
