Actor/musician Val Emmich attends the New York premiere of the independent drama Holly, held at the Hearst Tower’s Joseph Urban Theater last week.
Holly tells the story of a young Vietnamese girl who is sold across the border into the brothels of Cambodia. The film is spearheading an international grassroots campaign, RedLight Children, aiming to eradicate all forms of child sexual exploitation. The screening was hosted by Marie Claire, Priority Films and model Petra Nemcova.
Val, 29, will have a recurring role in Ugly Betty this upcoming season. He’ll play Jesse, a potential new love interest for braces-boasting gal Betty (America Ferrera). Ugly Betty returns with all new episodes on Thursday, Sept. 25 @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
