Vanessa Bryant Posts Touching Video of Kobe Speaking About Coaching Gianna

Vanessa Bryant has shared a sweet video of her late husband Kobe Bryant.

The 37-year-old wife of the late basketball star took to Instagram on Thursday (March 26) to post the clip.

In it, Kobe talks about coaching their daughter Gianna, who tragically passed away along with Kobe and seven other victims in a helicopter crash in January.

“She started out playing soccer, which is one of my favorite sports as well,” Kobe Bryant says. “But then when she asked about learning the game of basketball, I started teaching her piece by piece, and she started enjoying it and loving it and now she plays every day.”

“It’s been a joy to watch her grow and to be there everyday for that process,” he continued. “Her temperament is a lot like mine. She’s extremely competitive, very fiery, and backs down from no challenge.”

“She’s a good mix of me and good mix of her mama, so that makes her even more competitive than I am,” he added.

“💔💔,” Vanessa Bryant captioned the clip.

Vanessa Bryant Wants to Amend Kobe Bryant's Trust for This Reason

Vanessa Bryant has filed legal documents in the courts to amend her late husband Kobe Bryant‘s trust.

Kobe created a trust back in 2003 to provide for Vanessa and his kids. Most recently, the document was amended in 2017 and it appears as if he amended the documents every time Vanessa gave birth to include all of his children in the legal document. However, the document was never amended in 2019 after the birth of their youngest Capri. If the trust is amended, it will allow for Vanessa to pull money, and in the event of her death, the trust would go to the children, TMZ reports.

Vanessa is asking a judge to amend the document to also include Capri. The document currently includes Natalia and Bianka.

Kobe and 13-year-old Gianna died in a helicopter accident in late January.

Vanessa bravely eulogized her late husband and daughter in a touching and emotional public speech.

Kobe Bryant Crash Site Photos Have Been Deleted, Sheriff Confirms in Response to Vanessa's Statement

The photos that were taken from the site of Kobe Bryant‘s helicopter crash site have been deleted, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva has confirmed.

On Sunday, Kobe‘s widow Vanessa Bryant released a statement via her legal team in which she expressed that she was devastated to find out that deputies had publicly disseminated photos from the crash site.

“First responders should be trustworthy. It is inexcusable and deplorable that some deputies from the Lost Hills Sheriff’s substation, other surrounding substations and LAFD would allegedly breach their duty,” the statement read. She also called for the deputies involved to be disciplined for their actions.

Villanueva says that the deputies have been identified.

“That was my No. 1 priority, was to make sure those photos no longer exist. We identified the deputies involved, they came to the station on their own and had admitted they had taken them and they had deleted them. And, we’re content that those involved did that,” he said (via NBC News).
