Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern are stepping out at the 2022 Venice Film Festival.

The 53-year-old actor and 55-year-old actress were seen arriving at the photo call for their new film The Son in Venice, Italy on Wednesday (September 7).

Hugh wore a navy suit and light blue button down, while Laura opted for a black and yellow crochet dress. The pair were joined by co-stars Zen McGrath and Vanessa Kirby, as well as director Florian Zeller.

Here’s a synopsis for The Son: “Peter (Jackman) leading a busy life with a successful job and a new baby. However, things take a turn when his ex-wife Kate (Dern) arrives with their teenage son Nicholas (McGrath).”

The film is the latest installment in Florian‘s The Father trilogy. It will hit theaters for a limited release on September 7.

The stars are stepping out the Valentino Fashion Show!

Bridgerton newcomer Simone Ashley sat front row at the fashion show held during Paris Fashion Week held on Sunday (March 6) in Paris, France.

Other stars in attendance included Vanessa Hudgens, Maluma, model , singer Anitta, Oscar-nominated actress Vanessa Kirby, fashion blogger Derek Blasberg, and British racing driver Lewis Hamilton.

The new season of Bridgerton will premiere on March 25.

Vanessa Kirby is taking over the role that Jodie Comer dropped out of earlier in the day.

The 33-year-old former The Crown star will star opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Kitbag, which will be directed by Ridley Scott.

The historical drama about Napoleon Bonaparte and his wife, Empress Josephine, will begin production this spring for Apple, according to Deadline.

The outlet also reports that the official logline is this: “Kitbag explores Bonaparte’s origins and his swift, told through the lens of his addictive and often volatile relationship with the Empress.”

Earlier in the day, it was revealed that Jodie had dropped out of the movie over this reason.

Just recently, Vanessa has been filming The Son, which this Oscar winner will also star.

Emilia Clarke looks so chic in a coral colored dress at the Alexander McQueen SS22 Womenswear fashion show held at Tobacco Dock on Tuesday afternoon (October 12) in London, England.

The 34-year-old actress was joined by Vanessa Kirby and singer-songwriter Soko at the runway presentation, along with Hannah Redmayne, Lara Stone, Honor Swinton Byrne, and Yahya Abdul Mateen II.

The set for the fashion show is a reusable structure, which was conceived and designed by architect Smiljan Radic, and built on the roof of Tobacco Docks Yellow Park in Wapping, East London.

Vanessa Kirby strikes a pose in a hot pink suit at the Valentino Womenswear Spring/Summer 2022 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on Friday (October 1) in Paris, France.

The 33-year-old actress was spotted on the front row next to Emily Ratajkowski, French actress Adele Exarchopoulos, Caro Daur, Anna Wintour and Hamish Bowles.

Influencers Bella Poarch, BryanBoy, Noah Beck, and Dixie D’Amelio, as well as couple Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz were also spotted at the fashion show.

The event featured flower stands, traditional bistro chairs and tables at which guests were served by waiters.

The runway light up with fashions in eye-popping colors, baggy jeans and sheeny Juliette sleeves.

Vanessa Kirby‘s calendar is filling up as she’s joined The Son movie opposite Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern.

Variety is reporting that the 33-year-old actress will play Hugh‘s partner in the pic.

The Son will center on Peter (Jackman) as his busy life with new partner Emma and their baby is thrown into disarray when his ex-wife Kate (Dern) turns up with their teenage son, Nicholas.

The young man is is troubled, distant and angry, playing truant from school for months.

Peter strives to be a better father, searching to help his son with those intimate and instinctive moments of family happiness. But the weight of Nicholas’ condition sets the family on a dangerous course.

This will be Florian Zeller’s follow up to his Oscar-winning feature debut The Father, which earned him and Christopher Hampton the best adapted screenplay Oscar. Anthony Hopkins also won the Best Actor award for the movie.

Filming is expected to start in the coming weeks.
