'Fast & Furious' Gets Release Dates for Movies 9 & 10

Vin Diesel has announced that there will be ten films in the Fast & Furious saga and release dates have been revealed for the ninth and tenth movies.

We already knew that Fast 8 is going to be released on April 14, 2017 and now we know that new films in the franchise will be released every two years.

The ninth movie will hit theaters on April 19, 2019 and the tenth movie will race into cinemas on April 2, 2021. Yep, that’s over five years away from now!

Jet Li & Vin Diesel Will Battle It Out in 'xXx 3'

Jet Li and Vin Diesel are set to face off on the big-screen in the upcoming movie xXx3: The Return of Xander Cage, according to THR.

“We are extremely excited to have Jet Li join the cast of xXx3: The Return of Xander Cage as Raif who is pitted against Vin Diesel’s Xander Cage, and watch these two in action as they raise the bar with some of the most incredible stunts on film,” Revolution COO Scott Hemming said in a statement.

While there are no plot details known at this time, we do know there will be a diverse cast in the film. Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, and Samuel L. Jackson have all landed roles in the franchise’s reboot.

Vin Diesel Reveals Title of Eighth 'Fast & Furious' Movie!

Vin Diesel has revealed the title of the upcoming eighth movie in the Fast & Furious franchise!

The 48-year-old actor put a poster for the upcoming movie on his Instagram page and revealed that it will be titled Fast 8.

The poster teased that there are “new roads ahead” and the photo of the New York City skyline gives a bit of info as to where the movie will be set.

Fast 8 is set to hit theaters and IMAX in April 2017. We can’t wait!

Nina Dobrev & Ruby Rose in Talks to Join Vin Diesel's 'XXX 3'

Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose are both in talks to join the upcoming movie xXx: The Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel!

While a sequel to Vin‘s original film was made in 2005, he did not star in it and it was a flop.

Plot details for the third film in the franchise are not yet known. “It will focus again on Cage but will also surround him with a core team of sexy badasses and comic relief players,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is also in talks to join the film and Samuel L. Jackson is attached as well.

Vin Diesel Sings 'See You Again' Live at People's Choice Awards 2016! (Video)

Vin Diesel sings to the audience while accepting an award at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Wednesday (January 6) in Los Angeles.

The 48-year-old actor accepted the awards for Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie for his film Furious 7. His co-star Nathalie Emmanuel was also there!

During the acceptance speech, Vin paid tribute to his late co-star Paul Walker and sang a snippet from the song “See You Again.” Watch the video below!

Vin was also nominated for Favorite Action Movie Actor, but the award went to Chris Hemsworth.

Vin Diesel Remembers Paul Walker on Second Anniversary of His Death

Vin Diesel is speaking out to remember his late friend and Fast & Furious franchise co-star Paul Walker two years after the actor tragically died in a car crash.

“No matter where you are in this universe… You will always be, my brother,” the 48-year-old actor wrote on his Facebook account on Monday (November 30).

Tyrese Gibson also spoke out about the anniversary of Paul‘s death.
