Volodymyr Zelensky and Olena Zelenska are on the cover of Vogue, and it’s causing some controversy.

The 44-year-old Ukrainian president and his 44-year-old wife appear on the cover of the digital edition of the magazine, including a featured profile called “Portrait of Bravery: Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska“ with photography by Annie Leibovitz.

The feature includes several photos of the couple, including shots of them holding hands and posing in what appears to be the Mariinsky Palace in Kyiv, via TMZ.

The Harry Potter author was the subject of a prank by Russian duo Vovan and Lexus, a duo famous for pranking celebrities, in a new video.

She was reportedly tricked into believing she was on a Zoom call with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

People around the world are now learning new things about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Before being elected to office in 2019, he was in the entertainment industry and actually provided the voice of Paddington bear in the Ukrainian-dubbed versions of 2014’s Paddington and its 2017 sequel Paddington 2.

That wasn’t all of Volodymyr‘s credits – he even won the country’s version of Dancing With The Stars in 2006.

Volodymyr was also part of a competitive comedy team, following pursuing a law degree at Kryvyi Rih Institute of Economics.

His additional acting credits also include a starring role as the president of Ukraine on the popular television series Servant of the People.

Over the weekend, Volodymyr spoke of the Russian attacks against Ukraine.

“We are not putting down arms. We will be defending our country, because our weapon is truth, and our truth is that this is our land, our country, our children, and we will defend all of this,” he said in a video last week, according to a CNN translation. “That is it. That’s all I wanted to tell you. Glory to Ukraine.”

Volodymyr Zelensky has been in the headlines a lot lately after a phone call between him and President Donald Trump prompted a whistleblower to issue a complaint, which lead to an impeachment inquiry against Trump.

A transcript of the phone call between Zelensky and Trump has Trump asking the Ukrainian President to look into former VP Joe Biden and his son Hunter, who used to be on the board of a Ukrainian natural gas company.

CNN reports that Zelensky told Tom Cruise, “You’re good looking … like in a movie.” Tom reportedly responded, “It pays the rent.”
