Warm Bodies has topped this weekend’s box office with $20 million grossed, according to THR!

The paranormal romantic comedy based on the young adult book series stars Nicholas Hoult as a zombie who falls for a girl [Teresa Palmer] after saving her from a gruesome death.

Coming in at number two was Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters with $9.2 million in its second week of release.

Holding strong in third was Silver Linings Playbook with $8.1 million and a total of $80 million grossed so far.

Rounding out the top five were the Jessica Chastain-led films Mama and Zero Dark Thirty bringing in $6.7 million and $5.3 million, respectively.

The 23-year-old English actor stars in the new romantic zombie flick Warm Bodies, which hits theaters everywhere TOMORROW (February 1)!

The film centers on a highly unusual zombie who saves a girl from an attack and then forms a relationship with her that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.

JJ also sat down with Nicholas to find out whether he will return to Skins, his feelings on shaving his head for Mad Max: Fury Road, and what it is like to kiss the beautiful Teresa Palmer.

The 26-year-old Aussie actress stars in the new zombie flick Warm Bodies as a girl who is saved from an attack by a highly unusual zombie, which leads to the two forming a relationship that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.

Warm Bodies, which also stars Nicholas Hoult, Dave Franco, and Analeigh Tipton, hits theaters everywhere TOMORROW (February 1).

JJ sat down with Teresa to chat about her experience making the film, her thoughts on the zombie craze, and her dream co-stars and movie roles.

Nicholas Hoult suits up for the premiere of his new film Warm Bodies on Wednesday (January 16) at Cinema Adriano in Rome, Italy.

The 23-year-old newly single actor attended a photo call to promote the film earlier in the day.

Nicholas recently chatted with JustJared.com about shaving his head for his role in Mad Max: Fury Road.

“I felt naked at first, and then I kind of got used to it. Now I quite enjoy it! It’s easy to look after,” Nicholas said. He also shared that he and Charlize Theron weren’t the only cast members to shave their heads for the film!

Teresa Palmer and her newly single Warm Bodies co-star Nicholas Hoult eat a plate of “brains” together during a shoot for a viral video to promote their film on Saturday (January 12).

“On the set of a special #warmbodies viral shoot feasting on some brains with #nichoult @WarmBodies Feb 1st!!” Tez tweeted.

The 23-year-old actor and his girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence recently split after two years of dating, JustJared.com confirmed earlier this week.

Nic and Jennifer will soon reunite to film their upcoming flick X-Men: Days of Future Past.
