Vegas Casinos Are Reopening & Wayne Newton Showed Up in a Tuxedo + Face Mask

The resort and casino opened for the first time since being closed on March 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hotels and casinos in Vegas are opening back up as part of a phased reopening of the city.

Newton, 78, is one of the most well-known Vegas entertainers and he even has the nickname Mr. Las Vegas.

There are many restrictions right now for visitors of hotels and casinos. All guests must have their temperatures taken upon arrival and medical crews must be on site at all properties. Guests must be given access to COVID-19 testing and be able to wait for results on site.

Guests are strongly encouraged to wears masks and properties must make them available for guests. Most casinos have announced that employees must wear masks at all times.

Chairs are only being place at every other gaming machine and dealers at tables will offer players hand sanitizer between hands.
