Wendy Williams Treats People in Need to Night of Holiday Cheer

Wendy Williams is doing her part to help the New York community during the holiday season!

The talk show host, along with her charity The Hunter Foundation, hosted the annual Dinner with the Hunters event on Monday night (November 27) at Bowlmor Times Square in New York City.

Wendy and her family served food to families in need from the NY and Tri-State Area. All the people in attendance got a chance to bowl and receive toys from Santa, including new Lego sets and other fun items. Guests munched on Bowlmor’s signature bites, such as Chipotle Mac and Cheese, Cheeseburger Sliders and Crispy Chicken Fingers.

Wendy Williams Opens Up About Fainting on Live TV: 'It Was a Beautiful Fall'

Wendy Williams is talking about her scary fainting moment on live television on Tuesday (October 31).

The 53-year-old daytime TV host spoke to Good Morning America anchor Amy Robach about the experience during an ABC News interview published on Friday (November 3), during which she admitted she was “scared to death.”

“I was dehydrated according to the paramedics,” Wendy said. “I’m a woman of a particular age…I’m also going through menopause.”

Wendy also explained her thought process as it was happening: “Fall pretty, cause this will never happen again, and go down with the crown,” she said, referring to the Statue of Liberty costume she was wearing. “For people watching, when they saw me, you know, put my head, my hand up, it’s cause I’m trying to make sure my crown is there.”

“It was a beautiful fall. Unfortunately, we went to commercial … so nobody saw it,” she joked.

She assured fans that the doctor has given her the all-clear: “I have no pain. My head doesn’t hurt. I don’t have a lump on my head. I never got one headache.”

And she refuses to miss a show, including her upcoming milestone 1,500th episode later this month (November 13): “That’s why I got up off the floor and came out here and closed out the show. You’re only as good as your last performance.”

Wendy Williams Issues Statement After Fainting on TV: 'Everybody Relax'

It was really concerning to see Wendy Williams faint live on the air during her talk show on Tuesday (October 31).

Wendy released two statements after the incident. The first said, “Wendy is feeling much better. She overheated because of her heavy costume, makeup, and lights. She was able to finish the show in true Wendy spirit. Thank you for your well wishes.”

Later, Wendy tweeted out again when people were still very concerned that this was a serious medical issue.

“Everybody relax. I’m doing fine, just need some water and electrolytes,” Wendy tweeted. On another note, I slayed and laid Halloween, LOL! Shout out to my magnificent Glam Squad and Ceasar Galindo the costume designer. More on this tomorrow.”

Wendy Williams Faints on Air, Was Overheated in Halloween Costume

Wendy Williams had a really scary moment during the live taping of her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, on Tuesday (October 31).

The 53-year-old talk show host was dressed as the Statue of Liberty for Halloween and was introducing the costume contest on her show when all of a sudden it appeared as if she fell ill. Wendy fainted, and the screen cut to black on the live east coast feed.

When the show returned from commercial, Wendy told her viewers that she became overheated in the costume.

“That was not a stunt,” Wendy said when the show returned. “I overheated in my costume, and I did pass out. But you know what? I’m a champ, and I’m back.”

50 Cent Slams Wendy Williams on Instagram After She Comments on His Relationship With His Son

50 Cent and Wendy Williams are currently embroiled in a public feud.

The 53-year-old talk show host targeted the 42-year-old rapper’s relationship with his son Marquise and Marquise‘s mom, Shaniqua Tompkins, during her show on Friday (October 13).

50 had remarked that he would throw a “child support release party” that day (Marquise‘s birthday) and Wendy slammed him for the comment, saying she didn’t care about 50‘s troubled upbringing. (Watch the clip here.)

“’ Wendy williams just told me to get my life together, smh 🤦‍♂️ your husband is not a bad man,” 50 captioned a recent photo of Wendy in a bikini on Instagram. “He deserve a side chick for talking to you, you ugly motherf–ker Focus on your own s–t b–ch. Oh yeah we in club LUST tonight your invited.LOL #50centralbet.”

Wendy‘s husband of nearly two decades, Kevin Hunter, is currently facing tabloid allegations of having an affair with another woman, though Wendy denies them.

“Yeah b–ch, you f–king around in the wrong section,” 50 added along with a side-by-side photo of Wendy and actor Ron Perlman dressed in costume as the beast in Beauty and the Beast. “Every time you call me,I’m a show up. #50centralbet.”

“Excuse me if I seem a little [insensitive] at times,” he wrote in another recent post. “Im different , I came up a little harder than these guys. I make no excuses. I never met my father my mother got killed when I was 8.”
