Will Ferrell heads out and about with his mother on Friday (December 18) in Los Angeles.
The 48-year-old actor recently told Parade that he and Mark Wahlberg’s characters in the upcoming movie Daddy’s Home don’t stray too far from their personalities in real life.
“Mark knows how to ride a motorcycle and wear a leather jacket and not look foolish,” Will said. “I can’t. Mark is that guy in real life.”
Referring to his own nerdy character, Will said, “I’m much more like the straight-laced guy I play in the movie— well, maybe not that nerdish. I’m perfectly fine with my level of masculinity or lack thereof. But I don’t know how to do or fix anything.”

The 48-year-old actor and SNL alum brought back his famous impression for the upcoming election.
“This is an important day. I’ve made a big decision,” Will (as Bush) said. “I’m entering the race for President of the United States of America. The field of Republicans out there is so messed up I figured, it makes you miss me, doesn’t it? And that’s saying a lot.”
Of course, he took jabs at all the nominees, including Donald Trump.
“And then you got this knucklehead with the hair and the 100-foot wall. I tell you, every time I get in a bad mood, I just picture his big, fat, orange, Oompa Loompa face and I just piss my pants,” Will said. “And now he says he wants to keep all the Muslims out. Yeah, great idea, but impossible to implement and not what this country is about. Heck, that’s like saying ‘Let’s keep all the leprechauns out.’”
Out on Christmas, Daddy’s Home follows a mild-mannered radio executive who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.
FYI: Will is wearing a dunhill suit.
