The film, directed by Me And Earl And The Dying Girl‘s Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, revolves around a New York adverting executive (Smith) who falls into a depression after a personal tragedy. His colleagues devise a plan to help get him back on his feet that works in a way that no one could have imagined.

The 15-year-old singer’s father Will, 47, opened up about his kids experiencing criticism in a recent interview with News.
“I want them to experience as much trauma as they can without them getting broken,” Will said. “The world is hard so I want them to be able to hear people’s opinions and take what people say and what people think and grant people their own views without that breaking their self-confidence.”

Will Smith is all smiles while signing fan autographs as he touches back down at LAX Airport on Friday (January 29) in Los Angeles.
The 47-year-old actor was busy promoting his new movie Concussion overseas.
During an interview on The Graham Norton Show, Will was asked about the lack of diversity at the 2016 Oscars.
“There is no us and them. It’s we,” Will said. “I’m a member of the Academy…For me, it’s more about putting my hand up and reminding my community, the Hollywood community, that we have to lead. That diversity is America’s superpower. That’s what makes our country great.”
He added, “If you lead with love and light, good is always going to come out of it.”

Will and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith are boycotting the 2016 Oscars due to a lack of diversity, and he recently opened up about being quite pleased with the Academy’s response.
“I was very pleased at how quickly and aggressively the Academy responded,” Will told the BBC. “I want to be very clear about the spirit of what I’m saying. This is far beyond me. This has nothing to do with me. This has nothing to do with awards. That’s a really frivolous reason for me to put my hand up and make a statement. For me this is much more about the idea of diversity and inclusion.”
“I think that it’s not us and them—it’s we,” Will concluded. “I’m a member of the Academy, so it’s much more a domestic family issue than it is a civil rights issue, so it’s a problem we all have to solve.”

“I consider the Hollywood community my extended family. So to me, there is a problem that we, as a Hollywood community, as a Hollywood family, have to solve, and we’re going to work really hard to make it right,” Will told the Europa Press. “Family is everything for me. The reason to do everything that I do is be able to have love.”
“This is completely not about me. I didn’t feel hurt,” Will added. “To me it is much more about eliminating the beauty of what makes America and what makes Hollywood great. And diversity is our superpower. I don’t believe that we can allow it to slip away from the beauty of the diversity and the cultural rainbow that is America. I think Hollywood needs to not only reflect that, but Hollywood needs to lead in the creation of that imagery. So I want to leave a more colorful and diverse Hollywood than the one I found.”

Will Smith beams at the premiere of his movie Concussion on Wednesday (January 27) at the Callao Cinema in Madrid, Spain.
The 47-year-old actor and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith are boycotting the 2016 Oscars due to a lack of diversity, and a video recently pulled from the ET archives shows it isn’t Will’s first boycott.
Will boycotted the 1989 Grammys along with his musical partner DJ Jazzy Jeff because the rap categories weren’t being televised.
“We don’t have the problem with the Grammy as an award or the Grammys as an institution, we just had a problem with the 1989 design of the awards show,” Will told ET at the time. “We chose to boycott. We feel that it’s a slap in the face.”
