Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff Debut New Song 'Get Lit' at Livewire Festival - Watch Here!

Will Smith is all smiles as he hits the stage at the 2017 Livewire Festival on Sunday (August 27) in Blackpool, England.

The 48-year-old entertainer joined his longtime pal DJ Jazzy Jeff onstage as they debuted their brand new track “Get Lit, “which is their first song together since 1998′s “Lovely Daze” on the DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince Greatest Hits record.

Addressing the crowd, Will explained that “Get Lit” was made in response to the recent “chaos and confusion” in the world.

“I wanted to make a song that allowed people to let their light shine,” Will added. “We all have an inner light and sometimes this world… people can say stuff to you and tell you you can’t do and you know you can but when they tell you that it kinda knocks you down a bit right so I wanted to make a record that reminded each and every one of y’all to let your light shine.”

Will Smith & James Corden's 'Carpool Karaoke' Series Premiere - WATCH NOW!

Will Smith joined James Corden in his car for the very first episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, which premiered on Apple Music last night!

The pair belted out hits including “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Boom! Shake the Room,” and “Getting Jiggy Wit’ It” with the help of a marching band!

During their ride together, James asked if Will had ever been approached to play Barack Obama. “I talked to Barack about it. He told me felt confident that I had ‘the ears’ to play the role,” Will said.

Carpool Karaoke is about to be packed with more celebrities than ever!

In a new teaser for the upcoming show, celebs including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba and Will Smith all take the driver’s seat for some hilarious jam sessions.

The Late Late Show spin-off is also set to feature Miley and Noah Cyrus, Ariana Grande, John Legend, Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Massie Williams, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Blake Shelton and John Cena.

Not only will the celebs be belting out their favorite songs, but they’ll also be making some pretty interesting stops.

In the teaser, Sophie and Maisie can be seen riding a mechanical dragon, Will crashes a wedding and John sings with a choir in a laundromat.

Carpool Karaoke debuts on Apple Music on August 8th.

Will Smith Praises Netflix at 'Bright' Comic-Con Panel

Will Smith is joined by his Bright co-star Joel Edgerton at the Netflix panel discussion held during 2017 Comic-Con on Thursday (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.

Joining the guys on the panel included their co-stars Edgar Ramirez and Noomi Rapace along with panel moderator Terry Crews.

During the discussion, Will praised Netflix for being the so innovative in the way viewers watch movie and TV shows.

“It’s interesting to be at the forefront of a new way to consume entertainment,” Will said. “I’m extremely excited to see where this thing goes. There’s been a lot of debate about it.”

Bright premieres on Netflix on December 22.

Will Smith's Netflix Movie 'Bright' Gets First Trailer!

The first trailer for the upcoming Netflix movie Bright, starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton, has been released!

The movie is directed by Suicide Squad‘s David Ayer and is set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time.

Bright follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward, a human (Smith), and Jakoby, an orc (Edgerton), embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it. Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a young female elf and a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which in the wrong hands could destroy everything.

Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry, Edgar Ramirez, and Ike Barinholtz also star in the film, debuting on Netflix on December 22.
