The 68-year-old actor looked cool in a tan blazer and white pants as he soaked up the sunny weather on his ride around town.

The first seven episodes of William‘s hit show Shameless will begin airing on September 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with a mid-season finale on October 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The second half of season nine will premiere on January 20, 2019 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Rami Malek and Christian Slater strike a pose at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet!

The 37-year-old 24 actor and the 48-year-old Mr. Robot star attended the event held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (August 9) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

They were joined by Jason Bateman, William H. Macy, Steve Carell, Allen Leech, Ben Hardy, John Cho, John David Washington, Chris Messina, Jason Reitman, Tim Robbins, and Drew Goddard.

The event marks the biggest charitable evening of the year for the HFPA as the organization makes donations and awards grants, amounting to more than $30 million over the past 25 years.

Shameless has received an expanded season nine order, and the new season will air in two parts.

The ninth season will be 14 episodes instead of 12, Showtime announced on Monday (August 6) at the TCA summer press tour.

The first seven episodes will begin airing on September 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with a midseason finale on October 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The second half of season nine will premiere on January 20, 2019 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Season nine, which is currently in production in Los Angeles, will also feature the show’s 100th episode.

In the new season, “political fervor hits the South Side, and the Gallaghers take justice into their own hands. Frank (William H. Macy) sees financial opportunity in campaigning and decides to give voice to the underrepresented South Side working man. Fiona (Emmy Rossum) tries to build on her success with her apartment building and takes an expensive gamble hoping to catapult herself into the upper echelon. Lip (Jeremy Allen White) distracts himself from the challenges of sobriety by taking in Eddie’s niece, Xan (Amirah Johnson). Ian (Cameron Monaghan) faces the consequences of his crimes as the Gay Jesus movement takes a destructive turn. Debbie (Emma Kenney) fights for equal pay and combats harassment; and her efforts lead her to an unexpected realization. Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) sets his sights on West Point and prepares himself for cadet life. Liam (Christian Isaiah) must develop a new skillset to survive outside of his cushy private school walls.”

Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, and Richard Flood also star, and Dan Lauria and Ashley Romans will have recurring roles.

Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy step out for the celebration of the 100th episode of their Showtime series Shameless!

The 31-year-old actress and the 68-year-old actor teamed up for the event held at DREAM Hollywood on Saturday (June 9) in Hollywood.

They were joined by their co-stars Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Jeremy Allen White, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney, Cameron Monaghan, Justin Chatwin, Pej Vahdat, Rebecca Metz, Chloe Webb, and Scott Michael Campbell.

Other cast members in attendance included Bernardo De Paula, Bojana Novakovic, Sammi Hanratty, Alan Rosenberg, Arden Myrin, Alicia Coppola, Jeff Pierre, Richard Flood, and Zach McGowan.

Emmy‘s husband Sam Esmail and Cameron‘s girlfriend Peyton List were there to show their support as well.

William H. Macy is opening up about his hopes for his daughters’ love lives.

The 68-year-old Shameless actor, who is married to Felicity Huffman, wants their daughters Sofia, 17, and Georgia, 16, to be able to have a lot of sex without feeling guilty about it.

William says that he’ll be welcoming to all of his daughters’ boyfriends and that his older daughter is already having boys sleep over.

“You know, I started doing all the cliches, ‘I’m gonna threaten the guys, I’m gonna dig a moat around our house,’” William told Us Weekly. “And then I thought, ‘OK, what do you really want for your daughters?’ And I realized: I want them to be happy and lusty and safe. I want them to have a lot of sex in their lifetime! Good, healthy wonderful sex with no guilt. That’s what I really want.”

“They’re different than when I was a kid. Georgia and Sofia have all their pals over. They will have six or eight of their friends over,” he added. “It’s pretty bizarre, especially with Sofia, to wake up in the morning and there’s some boy walking out of your daughter’s room! They all sleep together! I don’t think they have sex, well, I know they don’t.”

The actors were joined at the event by their co-stars Sammi Hanratty and Ruby Modine, series creator John Wells, and event moderator Bethenny Frankel, who is a huge fan of the show.

While the show has received a bunch of acting nominations in the past for William and guest actress Joan Cusack, the show itself has never been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series and Emmy still hasn’t received a deserved nomination. We hope that changes this year!
