William Shatner Sued for $170M by Man Claiming to Be His Son

William Shatner has been hit with a $170 million lawsuit by a man claiming to be his biological son.

The 85-year-old legendary actor is being sued by a radio host named Peter Sloan, who says his birth mother, the late Canadian actress Kathy McNeil, had an affair with William, according to Page Six.

Peter was given up for adoption at five days old. He met William in 1984 on the set of TJ Hooker and says the actor “admitted he was [his] father.” He claims he was later contacted by a rep for the actor asking not to go public and that William was “totally denying paternity at this point.”

Peter later decided to host a local CBS radio show using the name Peter Shatner and he says the actor successfully had his Twitter page taken down and his IMDbPro page removed. He is now seeking $30 million in compensatory damages, $90 million in punitive damages, and $50 million for pain and suffering.

Princess Carrie Fisher, also know as Carrie Underwood, has just been informed that the show’s whole big ‘Star Wars’ opening sketch was scrapped. Princess Carrie rushes down the backstage hallway in search of her co-host, a notorious scoundrel known across the universe as Guitar Solo.”

Other country music stars making appearance in the sketch included Little Big Town, Luke Bryan as Darth Vader, and Darius Rucker as a Stormtrooper.

William Shatner Can't Make it to Leonard Nimoy's Funeral, Celebrates His Life With Fans on Twitter

William Shatner is understandably still grieving the loss of his good friend and former Star Trek co-star Leonard Nimoy.

But because the 83-year-old actor had a prior charity commitment and can’t attend the funeral, he’s received some backlash, particularly in the form of a New York Daily News front page story.

William took to Twitter to clarify why he couldn’t go, and take the time to remember his late friend.

“I am currently in FL as I agreed to appear at the Red Cross Ball tonight. Leonard‘s funeral is tomorrow. I can’t make it back in time,” William tweeted. “I feel really awful. Here I am doing charity work and one of my dearest friends is being buried.”

He added, “So maybe tomorrow we come together here and celebrate his life. So let’s spend some time tomorrow celebrating Leonard’s life and remembering the man. Until tomorrow! #LLAP”
