YouTube is dominated by beauty influencers – and the ones at the top are making millions and millions of dollars.
From Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson‘s record-breaking Conspiracy palette launch to Tati Westbrook and James Charles‘ massive public drama to Jaclyn Hill‘s infamously faulty lipstick line launch, so much has happened in 2019 to send beauty vloggers to the top of the YouTube charts.
On Thursday (December 5), YouTube revealed the most-liked beauty videos of the year.
“This list was generated by ranking the most liked videos uploaded in 2019 associated with the keywords ‘beauty,’ ‘beauty tips,’ and ‘cosmetics.’ The results were reviewed and filtered to ensure videos reflected actual beauty tutorials, beauty product reviews, or the creation of beauty product lines. To feature as many creators as possible, an individual creator was only able to appear once. For example, if a creator had multiple videos in the top 10, only their highest-ranked video was featured,” the video sharing service explained of their ranking.
