Elisabeth Moss Premieres 'The Handmaid's Tale' at Tribeca Film Fest

Elisabeth Moss and the cast of The Handmaid’s Tale are just days away from the show’s premiere on Netflix!

The 43-year-old actress stepped out at the series’ premiere at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday night (April 21) at BMCC Tribeca PAC in New York City.

Elisabeth was joined by her co-stars including Samira Wiley, Yvonne Strahovski and Alexis Bledel.

While the show will be released all at once on Netflix, Elisbeth doesn’t recommend binge watching the series.

“I think you actually can binge-watch it, I just think that it’s important in a show like this to watch, step away and think about it. Every episode is so jam-packed with so much that I think it would almost be a shame to overdose too quickly on it. I think it’s something to be enjoyed and savored. It’s filled with nuance, it’s complicated,” she told USA Today.

Hulu's 'Handmaid's Tale' Airs Super Bowl Commercial (Video)

A new trailer for the upcoming Hulu television series The Handmaid’s Tale debuted during the 2017 Super Bowl tonight and you can check out the commercial right here!

Elisabeth Moss stars in the show with Alexis Bledel, Samira Wiley, Yvonne Strahovski, and more.

The Handmaid’s Tale is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly the United States. Facing environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, Gilead is ruled by a twisted fundamentalism in its militarized ‘return to traditional values’. As one of the few remaining fertile women, Offred (Moss) is a Handmaid in the Commander’s household, one of the caste of women forced into sexual servitude as a last desperate attempt to repopulate the world. In this terrifying society, Offred must navigate between Commanders, their cruel Wives, domestic Marthas, and her fellow Handmaids – where anyone could be a spy for Gilead – all with one goal: to survive and find the daughter that was taken from her.

The upcoming television series was adapted from the classic novel by Canadian author Margaret Atwood.
