Zazie Beetz makes a stylish appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden this week, opening up about her most recent movie, The Harder They Fall.
While chatting with the host and fellow guest Adrien Brody, the 30-year-old actress opened up about her past with horses and smashing stereotypes about westerns with the movie.
“I wasn’t trained in the traditional sense,” she admitted after explaining how she and her family used to visit farms with livestock when she was younger. “But it’s a lot of rhythm.”
Zazie plays Mary Fields in the Netflix movie, which centers on an outlaw reuniting with his gang to seek revenge on his enemy, who was released from prison.
FYI: Zendaya wore a Vera Wang ensemble with Bulgari jewels. Dove wore Carolina Herrera. Aubrey wore Thom Browne, with Ananya and Grace Lee jewelry. Anok wore Michael Kors Collection. Zazie wore a Brother Vellies x Brock Collection gown with a Brother Vellies clutch and boots.

The trailer for The Harder They Fall has finally arrived!
Here’s a synopsis: When outlaw Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck (Idris Elba) is being released from prison he rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge. Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Stagecoach Mary (Zazie Beetz), his right and left hand men — hot-tempered Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler)—and a surprising adversary-turned-ally. Rufus Buck has his own fearsome crew, including “Treacherous” Trudy Smith (Regina King) and Cherokee Bill (LaKeith Stanfield), and they are not a group that knows how to lose. The film is directed by Jeymes Samuel and written by Samuel and Boaz Yakin.
The movie is in select theaters on October 22 and on Netflix November 3.

The 29-year-old Deadpool 2 actress and her actor/writer boyfriend stepped out to attend the Black Lives Matter protest on Saturday afternoon (May 30) in Los Angeles.
Zazie and David both stayed safe in face masks as they attended the protest following the death of George Floyd.
David recently took to Instagram to address George‘s death by police violence.
“Maybe this is the tipping point? Maybe we can begin to grow into the future together?” David wrote. “We all suffer when there is no justice. We are all connected. I’m not preaching – I’m just a white dude who has benefitted from white supremacy culture and I’m heartbroken, trying to figure out how to be a part of the healing.”
All three of the stars were just at the Oscars two days ago!
