Is 'Big Little Lies' Season 2 Happening? Here's an Update!

HBO is officially in talks with Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty about potential season two story lines!

“Liane taking her crack at it and I think that it’s interesting,” HBO’s programming president Casey Bloys told ET. “I don’t think [there's been] a time when we’ve gone to the writer of the novel, the source material, to come up with like, ‘Do you see ongoing stories?’ I’ll be very curious to see what she comes up with that. Normally you go to a TV writer, and say, ‘What do you see?’”

“First, we have to see the material and if it’s worth everybody’s time. If it is, then the conversation of directors [will happen]. I understand why Jean-Marc feels [that way]. He did that. He’s doing another show for us, all eight episodes. But Nicole and Reese can be very persuasive,” Casey continued.

The cast has hinted the show could return – check out this cryptic post by Reese if you missed it!

Zoe Kravitz Confirms There Was a Feud on 'Mad Max' Set

It’s no secret that Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron did not get along on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road and now their co-star Zoe Kravitz is opening up about what their relationship was like.

The 28-year-old actress was asked a question about it while making an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday (June 15) in New York City.

“Did you witness any beef between Charlize and Tom Hardy on the set of Mad Max?” a caller asked.

“Huh, yeah,” Zoe said before the audience burst into laughter. “They didn’t get along. We were also in the desert for so long. I think everyone was tired and confused and homesick and we saw nothing but sand for six months. It’s just, you go crazy, you do.”

“I actually don’t know if there was one issue. I just think they weren’t vibing,” Zoe added. “It’s like summer camp. At some point, everyone has like some kind of issue with somebody ’cause it’s just the way people are.”

Zoe appeared on the show with her Rough Night co-stars Ilana Glazer and Ryan Cooper.

Zoe Kravitz Says She Still Has 'Work To Do As An Actor'!

Zoe Kravitz is all smiles as she joins co-star Lola Kirke at the 2017 BAMcinemaFest opening night premiere of their film Gemini held at the BAM Harvey Theater on Wednesday (June 14) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actress recently opened up about how she’s still got a lot of work to do in Hollywood as an actor.

“I’m working my way up, for sure,” Zoe told Net-a-Porter’s The Edit magazine. “I’m still waiting for those roles of my life, but I have work to do as an actor. It will happen at the right moment; I’m taking my time.”

Zoe also opens up about her latest role in Rough Night: “I think it’s good to see women behaving like that, We don’t just sit at home doing our makeup and waiting for the boys to come home – we go hard ourselves sometimes. It was fun to play a conservative rich b****, with a bob and nice clothes and heels. She is so unlike me, and so unlike what I am often cast as.”

Also pictured: Zoe spotted rocking a Sies Marjan sleeve tie dress while making an appearance on Good Morning America on Thursday (June 15) in New York City.

FYI: Zoe is wearing a The Row dress and Sophia Webster shoes at the premiere. She’s also wearing Jennifer Fisher earrings.

Zoe Kravitz Reflects on Her Wild Past & What Her Life Is Like Now

Zoe Kravitz takes the cover of Net-a-Porter’s The Edit magazine.

Here’s what 28-year-old Big Little Lies star had to share with the mag:

On not being able to audition for a role because the directors weren’t “going urban”: “I’m sure it would still happen now. When my name is brought up in a casting office, I’m sure the fact that I’m black comes up in discussions. I just read a script in which there were two couples, and one was written as black. When I talked to the directors, they said I should play the wife of the black guy. It’s insane that they still think the black girl needs to be married to the black guy, and everyone else is white. Their thinking is so compartmentalized.”

On her dad Lenny Kravitz once being engaged to Nicole Kidman: “I think she forgot that no one knew that. I hadn’t seen her in a long time before Big Little Lies, but there was a point where we were all kind of living together. I was about 13, and she would take me to see movies; she was so nice to me.”

On her wild days as a teen: “I was kind of living by myself by the time I was 17. And I was quite wild then, too. I had a lot of older friends and I could get into clubs. I got it all out of my system early on; now I just stay at home and watch Netflix.”
