Ellen Pompeo: Meredith & Derek Reuniting?

The 41-year-old actress’s Grey’s Anatomy character, Meredith, may be reuniting with Patrick Dempsey‘s character, Derek, before the new season ends.
“We open the [first] episode with Derek working on their dream house and I would love to have them moving in around the end of the season,” creator Shonda Rhimes told TV Guide.
“Baby Zola is transformative for Meredith, and what happens will be painful, unexpected, and wonderful,” she added.”
