James Franco: ‘Francophrenia’ Will Play Tribeca Film Festival!

James Franco waves a quick hello before catching a train at the Pennsylvania Train Station on Friday (March 9) in Baltimore, Maryland.

The 33-year-old actor/director was in town hosting a screening and question and answer session for his film The Broken Tower at Johns Hopkins University.

James‘ film Francophrenia, his behind-the-scenes General Hospital flick, will have its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, according to EW.

“He’s kind of constructed this really interesting and well-crafted film about that experience that plays with the boundaries of documentary,” Genna Terranova, the Tribeca Film Festival’s director of programming said. “It’s a bit tongue in cheek, as James himself can be. He’s a bit enigmatic and the film is as well.”
