Jennifer Lopez Talks 'American Idol' Exit at First U.S. Tour Stop - Exclusive Video!

Jennifer Lopez made it absolutely official that her American Idol days are over during her first U.S. tour stop on Friday (July 20) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

“I want to thank all of you for all your support and your love during my time on Idol,” the 42-year-old entertainer told the crowd. “It was an amazing experience for me and I am going to miss it very, very much. But at the end of the day, this is what I do. This is where I belong. Right here with all of you. Thank you!”

Jennifer‘s beau Casper Smart was spotted in the audience taking notes at a table in the center of the floor section.
